Years ago we had a bonfire at my sister's house in Georgia. That evening we doused the wood with water and the fire was out.

Until the next morning.

I soaked it all down again, rummaged for any hotspots and soaked them, again thinking I was done. Nope. Damn thing came back to life a few more times over the course of the day.
