I love those speed detecting machines...

A while back, there was one on Palm Blvd. and it had a button it, and a little sign next to the button that read, "If you exceed the speed limit; pull over, press this button, and wait for an officer to arrive and issue a ticket/citation." I was like, "Huh, who the hell would actually pull over and wait for a ticket?"

Radar guns are mucho fun.

When i was in a science museum, they had radar guns on a walkway that over looked the freeway. Clock quite a few cars going about 100 mph in stand-still traffic

Back in the '70s, when they were new, there was a report on how inaccurate they could be. To proof their point, they aimed it at a palm tree. It clocked in at about 75 mph

i went through a multinova speed camera oncw doing over 130 kph in a 60 kph and it did a reading og 86 kph i was

I went through a speed camera doing about 120 kays in a 90 kay zone, I was clocked as doing 160!!!!!!!! I almost p!ssed myself laughing when the cop pulled me over and told me I was doing 160.

My dad thinks he's funny...this gets him into a lot of trouble sometimes

Me, my brother and my dad got back from a weekend in Paris, about 50km before the belgian bordered we stumbled across this 4 lane -practically empty- straight, we hit at least 245km/h!! (In a Volvo S80 T6) So at the border crossing we get pulled over and the officer ~pretty p!ssed~ said to my dad: Do you realize you were doing 210 back there?! My dad replies: Oh really, hmmm..my meter read 240... You must've clocked me wrong. Now the guy gets really pissed and he and his partner discuss on if they're gonna take his lisence, eventuelly the other officer decides to just fine my dad about 2500 guilders (approx. $1200)

The cop said "oh, okay" and stumbled off back to his car!!
