Funny things in GT5

How about an international MBT championship... as in Main Battle Tank? You could have B-Spec Bob as your gunner. The more B-Spec points it has, the more accurate and the faster it can reload... Or you could even swap - put Bob in the driver's seat and you take the gun. Think of the fun you could have.

Imagine putting a Leopard II, Challenger II and Abrams II tanks against each other on the Grand Canyon race track... Then there's the upgrades - Full racing turret, stage 4 cannon, armour piercing round upgrade...

Then there's the historic MBT cup - pre-Vietnam era tanks. Shermans v's the Panzer Tiger tanks. Woo hoo!
 
here are some funny races i'd like to see:
1. Mobile staircase races (those things you see at the airport)
2. Rickshaw races
3. Hot Dog stand races
4. unicycle races
and more may come along....
 
I think that it would be sweet to have a off road course for like Hummers, Jeeps, and Range Rovers, with huge bolders, and hills/mountains to climb,(not based on speed but your vehicles off road capabilities,with the possibility of getting stuck and not being able to finish the course. Like the real life Jeep challenges.
 
Not necessarily meant ot be just haha funny, but more like fun and probably pretty cool too: karts. It would be awesome if they threw some PD special model karts, or have Briggs and Stratton or Craftsman or Tecumseh sponsor a special model cart using their respective engine. Imagine a little kart that weighs nearly nothing tearin up to 60 or even 100mph faster than a Z06., and if you are unfortunate enough to get hit by said Corvette you'll go flying! lol k, I'm done. :dopey:
 
How about midrace fights with your or other teams pit crews, drives on the race track or after that guy who hit you and stuffed up your car or the power to chuck pit gear like hammers and rattle guns and other drivers. Oh and oil slicks.

In all seriousness this is the wrong thread. Try the 'Things you want to see in GT5 other than cars' its on the front page of the GT5 forum, or maybe even the GT5 weather thread if you want to be more specific about what you want for day to night changes.

I like it. If you're behind, just set it ahead several laps and you're set. Hey, you could even undo B-Spec Billy-Bob Wally's bad driving with a quick jump forward...
 
Wow. I'm surprized this thread lasted this long. To be perfectly honest, few of the posts in this thread were what I was expecting. I was thinking about things that actually could happen, like a combintion of different suggested ideas (Motor Cairage + damage). Still, most posts were incredibly funny anyway, so don't worry.

Anyone know how to get that BTTF mod for VC or SA?

Erm sorry to correct someone on the 'funny things in GT5' thread, but cars don't explode when hit by lightening. However it would make for an interesting weather system, hmm.
 
Well, If Lightning hit the Delorean, you'd get transported instantly to 1885, have to become a blacksmith, and end up having to avoid getting shot in the back by a badguy while getting your teenage freind back to 1985 by pushing the DeLorean using a steam locomotive.

Then you'd end up building a steam engine into a Time Machine, get hitched to a gal who you rescued but weren't supposed to, and continue to travel the time-space continum. Perhaps get your own cartoon show.

anyways, what funny things i want to see in GT5? well, remembering a videoclip where a hare ran on track and got obliterated by DTM merc, how about an event where you have to chase a VW Rabbit GTi Mk1 or MK5 on some twisty tracks? and catching the rabbit would unlock some wacky edition of that car, like "Bugs Bunny(tm)"-edition that has 250bhp and AWD with some rally-style bodykit and silly Bugs Bunny(tm)-vinyls..
 
Funny things for GT5:
When racing at night, old Alfa Romeos only have one working headlight.

Triumph Spitfire leaves a trail of oil behind it... for about half distance, then, a few minutes later, the engine expires in a cloud of steam.

All '80s Italian cars develop rusty looking holes once you've had them for about a week. Over time the holes gradually get bigger, and the car's mass gradually gets smaller.

RE: B-spec bob as a tank gunner?!? Are you crazy? The only vehicle he'd manage to hit would be the one he's in!
