Because! You need the omgdzdriftzor motor to getz the propz!

I seriously hate drifting... Its turned every conversation about Nissan into one big gay drift gab. I cant wait till the world wakes up and see's that drifting is figure skating in cars.

Peabody, fetch me the "way back" machine so I can return to the time before initial d made everyone into mindless drifters. Back before these idiots took to public roads and tried to become uber street drifters. Either that, or show me alot of highlight clips of them curbing their cars, or putting them in ditches.

SR Vs VQ, I'll take a VQ with a side of SR is overrated.

I'd like to see you figure skate in a car. Why do you hate it so much? Have u ever been caught in a drift scared ****less that you're going to hit something/someone then u miraculously pull out of it realizing your driving skills dont suck, or are you one of those 4-speed, automatic, straight line types?

PS. i wear skintight pants.

No, I drive like an individual should on regular roads. I'm something people call a responsible adult when I'm on the public streets. You shouldnt have a time when you "need" to drift, and if you do, you drive like a child.

I dont like drifting because its worthless. It puts stress on your vehicle that far surpasses what I do when I run in my Solo II events. It shreds tires for no good reason other than "looking cool". Isnt that what rice is all about? Looking cool but not being fast? I believe it is. I enjoy doing it in video games, beyond that, its stupid to do in a privately owned vehicle.

How about you do yourself a favor, and click the link in my signature before you make an idiot statement like "are you one of those 4-speed, automatic, straight line types". Go ahead and check out my car. Check out my $2k+ rock hard suspension, and ask me again if I'm one of those straight line types.

Side Note: I do drag race from time to time. I use it as a good experience to practice my launch, get a readout on my 60' time and reaction time. Always on a track though, as I said above, I'm not a childish 16 year old, so I follow all traffic laws.

I used to drift for fun, Yes I had lots of fun, not to show off (I was on my own most of the time). Eventually I woke up and realised what it was doing to my car and my wallet, So I sold that car and got my Skyline. I have drifted it once and I feel sorry I did.

You could get into the definition of a ricer more and more, but i personally dont think drifting is for ricers. This is because drifting takes a level headed clear thought and control, skill, and a good car, or one with decent high RPM torque and good 50/50 balance...and of course an LSD. Now correct me if im wrong, but do ricers even know what half of that stuff is? And if drifting (a sport originating from Japan) is just for showing off, then whats drag racing and all other forms of racing? Drifting is pushing the limits of you and your car, seeing how much control you do or dont have, and personally, shows how much you love cars and motorsport. on any note, i dont really want to get off on a pissing match with anyone, so i ask you, what was your best time and have you ever topped out in your new car?

Best QT Time? 14.8@97.mph. My suspension is far too stiff to drag effectively, and the last time I went was well before I had a limited slip, so I would one wheel slip through my 2.7ish 60'. My trap speed is high enough to get well below that 14.8 though, it was just my launching problems. My car isnt set up for drag, but I go out to the track to have a good time anyway, hang out with a few friends of mine, and work my launch.

No nothing happened, I just think of what could of happened. I take much more care for this car.

I wouldnt have got caught because Im not stupid enough to drift around anywhere people are around.

with that trap speed you should get around low-mid 14's with a good launch.

This is back on the issue of the VQ43r398utjoinyhy..............swap (yeah thats what it's called). Doesn't the SR20DET have alot more tuning options? The only substantial mods for the VQ I've seen are the Stillen supercharger (390hp) and some twin turbo (~350). Both of these would add even more weight. Turbo mods on the SR don't hurt the weight as much because you are swapping out parts that were allready in there, instead of bolting new ones on. I guess that Z falls into the category of the RB26DETT 180sx's, just original to have.
