Long time no see Niels, anyway I like the latest shot, but most of all welcome back.

Thanks man! ^^
Nice to see you're still around, it's fun with everyone but it's extra nice to see some people who sticked around here while I was gone ;)

Just trying to get the photoshop mood back now. It's there already but now I gotta put it into the pictures wich is another thing :)

Next update I hope will be today.

I hope you will drop by my gallery sometime, because a lot has happened in so many people's galleries while you were gone.

The Corvette and 270R are looking very good. Interesting boarder on the 270R, haven't see one done like that before. Looks cool. The noise really makes a difference on the Corvette too, great shots. 👍

Well the background should've stopped with the black line and then go transparrent so it would be surrounded with the standard GTP color background. But apparently it automatically puts white into the area that was supposed to be transparrent in photoshop.

But next time I'll just make a screenshot of GTP's standard color, then extract that color and use it to fill the white area with the GTP color.
So :)

And I'll have a look at your gallery TVR. Hehe I'm kind of trying to catch up with everyone's galleries as well ^^

Just remember I have 2 galleries now, but it is funny how things change over time.

Update: Thanks for visiting my GT4 gallery.

Hehe you've got 2 galleries here, but I was most impressed with your updates in your art gallery ^^ Very nice pictures!!

I'll try to get an update in again soon. Today I hope, but I'm in the middle of a test week at school, and I got guitar lessons this evening so...maybe I'll do a quicky though :)

2 Randoms :)

I'm gonna try and find a new style as soon as possible people. I think my pictures are coming out...good, but nothing really more. They're "allright", but they're still missing some inspiration.
I had another car - track idea yesterday, and already saved a replay of it. But maybe I'm not going to post it up, as I don't have a real "wow" feeling with the car-track choice I made anyway.

I'll be trying to enter the Photomode 2.0 Advanced comp again too, this weeks theme is a car chase. So I hope to bring in a picture around that theme as well :)

I prefer the first one more, because it seems to capture more of the tracks lighting engine then the 2nd one.

They are both really good shots, I am loving the blur in both of them. Also the colours work well with each shot. Look forward to more updates from you Niels. 👍

great gallery you have here. these new updates are pretty stunning as well.
hope to see more from you soon.

Thanks for the comments 👍!

Another quicky:

Volkswagen GTI

I love how this one came out after a quick photoshop. I was busy this morning with a TVR, very good, but then complétely ruined it with one error I couldn't undo by removing a layer (forgot to do it on a seperate copied layer for safety). It ruined alot of work so, that's why I'm bringing this quick one instead. I was glad it didn't need too much photoshopping.

:)

Nice Golf Mk5 GTi, but I still prefer the Golf Mk5 GTi in either Black or White.

Awesome! Has a quite realistic feel. I like the fact that it's braking, too.

Check out my 40th update special!

Thanks guys :) Hopefully I'll have another go at the TVR soon. I'm kind of busy though, so it could be coming a little late. I'll try anyways ^^

And thanks for the comment!!
I like criticism too though, throw all you can at me :p
(I know there are people now that say "ALLRIGHT THEN!!!", hehe but I don't mind ;) )

@TVR, I kind of like it more in black or white as well. Although the red color isn't far behind for me IMO.
It's just that red really colours well with this track I noticed. It gives a nice feel to it, makes it look less boring.

great shots, the mitsubishi looks pretty cool and the cien shot is great, could use a little taillight touch up though.

Looks good.

When making a mistake in PS, don't forget about the history function. It allows you to go back quite a few steps.

Thanks all, nice tips. The Cien, I noticed does have a bit of an ugly rear in my pic. I don't know if I cán clean it up though, I never became that very good at photoshop. It's the balance between detail/cleaning.

And yeah Cod Father, hehe but this time I realised it too late. I added a pretty extreme color to the picture. Then I blurred it into the picture a bit. I sharpened some areas, and then "gosh this is just too ugly". And my whole history was filled up with blurring and sharpening. Too bad...

I'm concidering to continue with Brightness and Contrast only pictures though...

I like those last three shots of you niels. The cien is somehow my favourite. That is definetly one of the most difficult cars to take pictures of imo and you made it look really nice. The golf is nice as well. 👍

And thanks for your creative comment on my chase shot.

Yep I got Tourist Trophy and honestly. It only resulted in me appreciating GT4 less than I did.
This game is alive!

Lovely action in every replay, and it's worth taking shots time after time because the replays themselves are so cool to watch.
Ok so the first one was just a demonstration to a friend of me. So I wasn't very carefull with the background blur.

The second one is a bit messy with the added noise but I don't care cause I really loved the shot itsself and got some kind of raw distorted image out of it. The colors look kind of like an 90's live report from a MotoGP, when the color quality wasn't that perfect.
Maybe I did that unconciously, cause I've seen a documentary on MotoGP called "Faster" this saturday. And it was about MotoGP like 5 to 10 years ago. Gosh that documentary captured MotoGP so nicely.
Nevertheless, I came back anyway, for a tiney update. Might be gone again after this one. Not sure ;)
I don't like clean ups people so I won't go panicly remove tiney pixels anymore :p Maybe if they stand out but nothing more.

Never Look Back

Very nice...I am glad that the word on TT just might be getting out. It is far better for taking photos then GT4 as you said.

Well it's reversed this time.
In GT4, taking pictures and editing was done with a reason behind it, and that was to make the game look even better than it was.

Now with TT it sort of feels, like you're advertising for the game, and that you hope to amaze the people with your pictures like the game did to you.

Very nice work, Niels! :)

1sh shot seems to have way too much noise at first, but when you look closer, I find it the perfect amount for the effect intended. Blur ain't bad at all, great angle, glove and bike look very detailed, contrasting with the rest of the rider's gear. Nice tones too.

2nd shot is an awesome use of GT4 blur, very moody. 👍
Only thing is the noise on the rear tyre seems a tad excessive. Other than that, great work. :D

Oh gosh, yes dó buy Tourist Trophy very quickly.
I notice it's hard to find a game that actually fits yourself. So rather than being pleasantly suprised with a game I don't know at all (wich seems is never gonna happen again), I just took the safe way and bought Tourist Trophy and it's great!

Awesome shots Niels, I really like them. They both have great lighting and I really like the tone of each shot and I think the noise works really well on each shot. Superb angles too. 👍

I really should buy TT too, I hired it awhile ago and I really liked it. Even though I am not very interested in bikes. :)
