G25 Brake Pedal Mod

Has anyone tried to make a custom G25 brake pedal?
Here's a rough sketch.

You mean just adding different covers to the pedals?

That's no big deal.

Or you can do this if you don't really use the clutch.

You got it right. but how did you lengthen the shifter?

I used a length of an old umberella's hollow, chromed metal shaft – that was just the right cross-section slipped over the G25's shaft. I cross-drilled it at two places in the area concealed by the gaiter and secured it with M3 bolts.

Are you talking about creating new pedals for your g25? Did you know you can buy nice aftermarket ones and replace the g25 pedals? Check these out

I did not know that, thank you! Oh, and for anyone also looking at my custom cockpit thread, I just wanna let you know I'm at school (with my shifter) and am about to work on the increased resistance!
