I've come up what I think is a good trade off and custom set up for the Logitech G25 wheel when playing G25.

In order to make changes for the G25 you need to select the 'Driving Force Pro (1)' config page from the games steering controllers settings menu.

This set up allows you to make use of the in race adjustments menu for brakes, traction control, ASM and ABS using the shifter units d-pad and x button.

If you plan on doing lots of time trails, I suggest you swap out the Horn setting for Ghost. I've also left lights off the functions as they come on automatically.

This set up works well in practical use, and of course you can change assignments to anything else you prefer from this base.

I've seen so many versions of the image below I don't know who the original creator is, so if it's you, thank you, saved me a job :)

I was messing about with the settings just last night, and that ra menu setup is exactly what I ended up with.

I think I'm right in saying that the paddles are independently mappable to the sequential shifter. If so, the latter seems like a good place to put handbrake and reverse. Think I'm gonna go with lights (completely absent from the above example) and rear view for the wheel buttons and see how that pans out.

I left the lights off this one as they do come on automatically.

I personally don't use the look left/right function and so could map lights on one of those if I wanted them. Your final setup would depend how you like to play the game, but this is a nice start in the right direction to getting your G25 setup to make use of the main functions.

Ive taped a DS3 to the spokes on my wheel. I set that to controller no.1 and have no need to take my hands off the wheel for anything but to change view.

Use black insulation tape and you can barely see it.

Sorry sems no camera. Instead Ive created this incredibly detailed and accurate computer generated model:

Ive taped it over the buttons on the wheel so tightly they are being pressed so Ive set them to no function.
Experiment with the position so as not to block your hands on the wheel.

Use electrical tape because its stretchy and helps you keep the pad where you want it.

One version came from that "Crazy opelgt:crazy:1969 guy" Look to the left it's his AvatarWho also just said that you can use the (on the fly{DFGT}) settings when doing License Test/ Special Events too!

If anyone wants a Blank Sheet I have them on "My Profile page" feel free to print as many as you like they are in my pictures. I'm waiting to see if Kaz does an update before redoing diagram.
