like many GT5 players with wheels that have a clutch pedal. many, including me expected GT5 to have a very decent clutch simulation, I know that no pedal set up for gt5 can simulate clutch grab, feedback, etc. but GT5s clutch system is very disappointing, here are some of the issues i have noticed on my g27.
1. Clutch disengages with the pedal 10% pushed in
2. Flat Shifting will cause you to be defaulted to neutral( only flat shifting while up shifting, Flat shifting to a lower gear is allowed.
3. u can't shift gears with a clutch while the drive tires are spinning out (burnouts, drifting) If u try it will default u to neutral
4. the most interesting issue is like this, i rolled my car to 50mph in first gear, clutched in, no revs, and was able to select all 6 gears, i did the same thing, but this time added revs, and every gear i selected minus the gear i was in and reverse would not go in. THE CLUTCH PEDAL WAS TO THE FLOOR AND I STILL COULD NOT SELECT A GEAR.
that's my issues with the clutch pedal. i mean u can still heal toe, double clutch, but those issues really take away from the experience.
I do know that PD disable flat shifting in GTP in discovery that people were flat shifting, but is their any work around or adjustments so that the full travel of the clutch pedal can be used? so i can feed in the pedal like in RL, not just drop the clutch?
