I'm sort of curious about my problem here..
I've RMA'ed my wheel and got a completely new one, and it still does the same...
The thing it does, is when I'm playing GT5, and turning, it sort of jumping over the FFB, and making some cracking noises somehow..

Just curious about if others have similar problems?

Still not sure about it though... It only appears when i do right turns. Left turns is the same, just without those cracking sounds... i'll try to make a video of it to show it

The sounds from my g27 are abit dodgy too, sometimes turning one way not the other, I don't think it's anything to worry about.

Hope not =)... Tried my wheel with NFS Shift 2 Unleashed this night, and no problems there, and with stock cars in GT5 that dont go more than around 300 or something, no problems too :)

Sounds like rapid fire plastic smacking plastic right? It's a known issue and it's how the wheel is designed. I dont recall exactly but the explanation was something like there is slack in the ffb gears somewhere and a small spring is used to hold them in place. The spring is kind of weak so in the direction the spring is doing it's job you get smacking plastic sound. The other direction is the direction there is always full on contact anyway so it doesn't make the sound.

My wheel does the same but only in one direction and I think it's just how it is.
