G27 left paddle will not register

The left side (downshift) paddle will not register nor will any of the 3 buttons on that side. I ended up taking the buttons and paddles off completely which was a huge mistake since altogether. The problem is, the right side buttons and paddle worked fine so its not the board in the left side buttons, nor the entire control board that the two microswitches are connected to. The connector for the left side is the only thing I can think would be wrong given the previous statement, but it looks perfect by all means. The button board makes a clean connection with all of the pins inside and none of the wires have come out of the connector. The connecter on the larger board is a bit bent sideways but its still connected to the board fine. If anyone could help, I'd greaty appeciate it. I'll provide pictures of the connectors if anyone could use those to help.
