How deep/wide of a plate would I need to mount the G27. How far apart are the clamps from center to center? And does anyone what angle the wheel is at when the base is mounted flat? If the shaft was sticking out without the wheel on it and relative to the base being flat what's the angle? Thanks.

I have no issue mounting it to my surface. I'm building a drop down off of a table that will be angled slightly downward. Depending on how tall the wheel base is in the front and the back I will be able to actually tuck it underneath a bit and still have room for my legs underneath. I want to know how tall the front of the base is and how tall the back of the base is. And does anyone know the angle of the steering wheel compared to the flat surface it is usually mounted on? I'm building the structure before the wheel even arrives so I can just mount plug and play. I don't want to be fabricating stuff when I can be driving with my new wheel.

Here's some measurements from a G25 wheel which should be about the same as the G27.

Angle at 0 deg about 72 deg (Trying to hold level and measure)
I have my base set at an angle of 17 deg which sets the wheel at 89/90 deg.
The front is about 3 in, the back (back being where the wheel is) 5 in.
The base is about 7 in deep base front to wheel 10.5 in.
Base is about 10.5 in wide.
