Need some help
I have a dfgt and a standard wheelstand pro, i am upgrading to
a g27. Can i mount the g27 on the wheelstand ?
If not what are my options ?
Can you buy a upgrade to the wheelstand or do i have to buy a
new wheelstand with g27 mounting capabilities ?

You can purchase an upgrade.
The Shifter needs a mounting bracket too but....

They will recomend a full purchase of a new stand because the pedal mounting for the G27 is a lot larger than the DFGT and you will find it hard to fold down your stand and may crack the pedal base.

Hope that helps.

I wrote them when I upgraded to a G27 and they recommended just upgrading the current WSP that I had. It cost around $50 IIRC, and was very easy to do. It worked perfectly for me.

What Spagetti says about folding it is true though, but I never put mine in that position.

Ok thanks
But if a just want to use the paddle shifter would i still need a upgrade ?

Probably but I'm not sure.
Why upgrade your wheel only to not use a feature of it?

Hi, i did the same upgrade DFGT>G27 and if you only use the paddle is no problem, very easy:

Pedals should be mounted a bit to the left (if you want to fold the WSP), hard mounted with a metal plate on the back :)

Hope has helped.

If you want to hard mount the pedals then yes. They send a bar that goes under the pedals as the dfgt ones are too small. The plate for the wheel is also larger but not sure if that is necessary or if it can be mounted on original. And even if you only intend to use paddles don't you still want the shifter for the d pad and buttons?

Email them and ask for it. That's how I did it. WSP has great customer service.
