why would you want the vastly inferior dfgt? only had a couple of goes (have a g25 myself) and although the locks good the feedbacks a bit wack, pedals are **** (no clutch is fairly ****) the shifters **** (and wrong) and the paddles are completly useless :)

Quoted for truth.

Except for the clutch which is useless anyway in GT5.

I bought a logitech g25 3 years ago for test drive unlimited on pc. Best thing i ever did £150 well spent its fantastic for gt5 and they will eventuallu add support im sure. This thing is built to last certainnly took sum punishment bt its still in excellent condition. Only downside is no handbrake but i can live with that

I would use it (I use it but rarely so it doesn't count) if it was made properly.
I play Live for speed and on that sim the clutch acts as it should, not on GT. When you clutch kick there's that odd delay between when you press the pedal and when the clutch is engaged.
In Forza they got it better, still not right but better.

I vainly hope a for patch will correct it because as it is now it's a failure.

I clutch kick all the time on lfs but never on gt5 lol also lfs stalls the car if you handbrake without clutching it as in real life

I only use it with stock low powered cars.
I've been missile drifting an R32 GTS-T (only mod was adj. Suspension) around Autumn ring reverse, was pretty fun.

Uh.. guys wait, I have just started looking at the Fanatec wheels, cheap, has the clutch + H shifter + 900 degrees. Thats what I need, but the problem is that, does it work fine on GT5?

Hahaha yeah they take ages to restock here.
But i got one :D

Also, does anyone know how to drift with this thing?
I need someone to show me the ropes, I drift fine with the DS3 but its too difficult with this wheel -.-

I got my Driving Force from my brother as a gift, it's a good medium not as complex as the G27 but still 10x more intense the controller.
It uses a paddle shifter and a "touring car" style shift knob.

Just check the 100 "new to drifting" threads here.
But if this is your first wheel, you should try racing first until your getting used to the steering.

Guy's.. it's been less than a month, and for some reason my wheel does NOT work. The RPM lights, pedals, gearbox all function normally, I looked at the Logitech website, tried all that they suggested, nothing worked.

Do you guys think it's something to do with my AC adapter?

Yeah, it's most likely the AC adapter. it's happened to me a few times when I don't plug it all the way into the outlet. Make sure it's plugged in. The USB that connects to the PS3 has enough power to power pretty much everything except for the force feedback from the wheel.
