G27 Order Info

I ordered on Sunday night with the 20% offer, and received the shipping confirmation e-mail Tuesday morning. I tracked the package just now and its still in Memphis due to the icy weather. I hope to get it by this weekend.:indiff:

Did you use Ground Shipping? I ordered mine monday night, so Im guessing my shipping confirmation should come later today or early tomorrow? Im impatient as you can tell.:yuck:

EDIT** wheel just shipped around 10 mins ago:)

I changed the title. It looks like they are running smooth again.

Quick update: I got my shipping notice Monday, but did not get a tracking number, so I called today one last time and the guy was really nice. He gave me my tracking number and repeated that their system was indeed really screwed up last week and apologized for the misinformation. The customer service definitely got better after my first post and judging from others comments, they are usually pretty darn good.
 
Well here is my G27 experience so far. I ordered from logitech.com with free ground shipping for 239.99USD. That was accomplished with a customer survey code for 20%off and a 15% off code I found while rummaging around on google. I ordered it on Monday night, and just got it here in Nebraska Friday afternoon. So VERY good shipping experience. I just took it out of the box and have not got a chance to do any driving with it yet. So far it is really impressing me. The hand stiched leather on the wheel is very cool, aswell as the incredibly sturdy gas, clutch, and brake set. Paddle shifters have a very responsive feel, and the shifter feels sturdy too. I will post more pics and a "review" later, but right now I am very impressed by the G27. ...word of advice: just get ground shipping, do not waste your money on express one day delivery because chances are you will get it around the same time I did. :)

You're lucky, my order from Sunday is still in Memphis according to UPS. I was hoping to get it by this weekend, but I can't blame them for this crazy weather that we've been having. I'm happy to hear that you like it, and I look forward to un-boxing my own.

I belive that is where mine originated from too. I was getting worried about the weather, but somehow mine managed to get here. :odd: I sold my old home-made racing stand, so now I have to build another that is strong enough to hold the G27. hmmm Hope you get yours soon

Item shipped 4pm EST 2/3/11.
Item arrived 12pm EST 2/8/11 in CT.

WheelStandPro ordered 8pm EST 2/1/11 from International vendor. US distributor will not have any stock till end of march. International vendor said 2 week backorder plus 1 week to ship, estimated arrival 2/22/11 but no word or confirmation of these details from them yet.
 
Ordered G27 2/10/2011, 3:30pm, from Logitech Site. Will update with progress.

Site shows out of stock, a sales rep said they don't expect to be available again until March 1st.

I was given a 35% off coupon because I canceled an order for a wireless headset, on which I had used the 20% off coupon given when you register a new product. The customer service rep that handled my canceled order said that she could not give me my original promotional code back, but instead gave me a 35% off code! Total wheel cost with NYS tax was $212.05 :)

Another great example of how awesome Logitech Support is!
 
ordered my g27 on Feb 8th using my old coupons from registering a product and taking the survey (didnt think they would still work but they did!).
total was $191.xx + tax w/ free shipping.
Out of Stock at the time of order but i just got a shipping confirmation today..i wasnt expecting it to be this soon, im excited!!

EDIT: Received Feb 17th!!

I ordered my G27 from Logitech on 2/2 and it arrived 2/10. I payed $149.99+tax because I had just received a 50% loyalty discount code for my Logitech Driving Force Wireless wheel that calibrated off-center and was out of warranty. I'm extremely pleased with the G27. It replaced my Driving Force Pro which I've happily used for over four years.
