G27 problem

That's GT5's interpretation of Force feedback mate, it sucks.

Your wheel is fine. What your experiencing is normal for that game.

I own a 27 and a Fanatec. I have to set a deadzone on the Fanatec to eliminate it.

Now, I watched your video and I must agree with what posters above me have said - the wobble is GT5 problem, not your wheel's fault.
The wobble happens on every wheel apart from T500RS and Fanatec wheels, it's due to GT5's forcefeedback programming and it can't be fixed because GT5 has no option to add deadzone to the steering axis.
You will have to get used to this, put FFB to 1 and after some time you'll get used to it and enjoy the wheel. :)

Your wheel is fine .all g27s have that weird off center finish to the second calibration when gt5 Is started.

As for the wobble u appear to be causing it. You chose the nurburgring a horribly bump track..... And then u kind of swung the wheel in one direction and set off a chain reaction that gt5 ffb system enforced. As long as your holding the wheel it does not swing wildly like that. When ate you ever driving without hands in the wheel? Can't really says its problem. I can make both my dfg and my g27 do that given a bumpy track wih lots of banking. On the other hand they won't do it unless I try to make it do it like you did I bathe video . Your g27 is safe. Have fun
 
Well whilst I can agree to some extent you can make it happen with your driving style, that's still not normal.

As for the Fanatec's not having the same issue, it does. At least GT2 model.
You can add deadzone but you then lose fidelity around the centre.

To the point at hand though, it's no fault of any wheel. It's software related.

I agree it must be a software problem as i put in a different game and the wheel centers spot on and it feels realistic.

I have played on it for more than a few hours now and still feel it is not realistic on gt5 because if you drive any car the natural gyroscopic effect of the wheels will always try to go straight and will not wobble from side to side,also you should try and pull the wheel from center for you to be able to steer..... this is not so , which makes it hard ( very hard ) to catch a slide... :-(

I have tried different cars....... rear wheel drives are a lot harder to drive than front wheel drive ones.

One last thing ...... Is there or does anyone know of anywhere that i can put forward a complaint at the GT5 developers .... as i have looked around the net without succsess.
