g27 - serial number needed

Hi guys, I need a major favour from someone.
I bought a display model logitech g27 on clearance from a store that was closing.
It's became faulty and I rang logitech and a good guy at logitech said he would replace it, but the serial number on the main unit is damaged, he said if I can get one he would change it for me.
It's so frustrating I have only had it a few weeks
So if one of you guys have a wheel that's now out of warranty and never used the warranty It would be uber awesome of someone to let me use it.
Logitech don't even have to do anything legally but this guy was trying to help me out
If there Is anything I can do in return please ask

You might have a hard time getting one simply because we are giving up our serial number, but not only that our warranty. However, if you convince and find anyone who went on and voided their warranty, then lucky for you.

Take a picture of the damaged sticker/label, email it to them, they'll work with you. I've had issues with Logitech and serial numbers, we always worked through it.

Maybe ask for someone on the forum who voided the warranty by applying mods? If they are nice enough ofcourse

they had no problem with it when my wheel's serial # got rubbed off....

30 minutes on paint made me up a forged receipt for the store that closed, they accepted it, happy days
