Lately I've been looking at wheels for GT5 and I found the Driving Force GT and the G27. I went to a store that had the DF GT set up with F1 and an 80" display. It was ok, I didn't like the fact that it didn't have paddle shifters that stuck out. Now the G27 I haven't tried, and I haven't found a good review on youtube or any where else. So tell me your opinion, If you have it tell me the pros and the cons before I go and waste $300. Thanks

I want it for mostly all around, GT5/6 hopefully, Test Drive Unlimited, Rally games.

Well the G27 is definitely a more solidly built wheel. FFB is a bit better than the DFGT's but not leaps and bounds better but what you will really notice is how smooth the G27 is compared to the DFGT and of course with the G27 you get much better pedals nice paddles and a 6spd shifter.

Now if any of that is not important i would just go for the DFGT, it's a great wheel for the price, it's tough enough and all the buttons situated on the DFGT is perfect for Gran Turismo. There is absolutely nothing wrong or shame in buying a DFGT.

Oh yeah and if you want, you can buy better pedals for the DFGT eg: Fanatec Clubsports. Just a thought....

Thanks man, now another quick question does it have a mount for a chair or a dest something? After I buy the wheel im planing on saving up for a seat. Does it come with the 6 speed shifter or is that an add-on, and if anyone wouldn't mind taking a couple min and try to look for a Playseat GT5 Edition, with or with out a G27 if its a bundle, either on E-bay, Amazon or even the Playseat website I could't find anything. Thanks again

Shifter comes with wheel and both have mounting clamps. You can also screw down the wheel and shifter if you choose to do so

I haven't seen a retail package deal but i noticed you're from Miami so i checked Craigslist and this is all i could find
