Greeting,

First of all, English isn’t my first language. Please forgive about my errors. I m not a regular visitor here, so plz so dont expect me to reply soon. I tried searching whether similar thread been published; the search result was taking forever....

Anyway, I got around the problem of customizing the wheel buttons. That is with the help of my spare PS3 wireless game pad, some thin cable ties and a non-slip rubber cloth, got the job done in 10mins. Now I have all the customized functions from the button menu (zip file attached).

If you don’t have some long cable ties to wrap around the game pad to the wheel, well simply join one end to the other, now you have a much longer cable ties. The rest are very straight forward. As you can see from the photo, the tiny cable ties looping itself and sitting below the “PS” button - it is there to prevent those others suppressing onto the “select and “start” button.

Make sure your wheel is set on “controller 1”, PS3 pad on “controller 2” before the game’s startup. Once you are in the game’s main menu, hold the “PS” button on the ps3 pad and config the controller setting from controller “2” to “1” as the wheel. Now both the wheel and game pad buttons are acting as the same unit. Finally, go to the button menu of the game pad and get ready to customize the functions.

Hope this help. I m enjoying this game much more with the wheel!

Its great, the pad attached perfectly onto the wheel. i can move around the menu pointer easier with the knob, i can even adjust the TCS, ASM, ABS, BRK Balance settings directly on the race track. Handbreaking while drifting can be done easily now. I can also use my horn, window wiper, hi beam, checking cars beside me....haha so much more fun! :)

Nice!!!! I will try this now...

It's working great!!! Able to use all the pad buttons + some of g27 buttons.
