Greetings! Sorry, yet another G27 thread.
This is a request by me for any Logitech G27 owner to perform a very simple test of their hardware and let me know what you find.
I noticed a little bit of play in my G27 steering wheel and I'm not sure if it has always been there or if it's from my buddy lifting himself out of my rig by the wheel
Of course, now I think I'm hearing things in addition to feeling something.
Issue: The wheel tilts back and forth slightly - see the pic.
To test your wheel: Grab the rim at 12 o'clock and without turning it, pull back/push forward repeatedly with moderate pressure (doesn't take a lot - don't break your wheel!) Listen for a knock as it moves and watch to see if the gap behind the wheel (see pic again) opens or closes much. My wheel has maybe a little over 1/8" play total - that's relative movement of the rim of the wheel at 12 o'clock. It's just enough to be noticeable but is probably normal if other peoples' do the same thing. Please give your wheel a tug and let me know if you find anything (lol that sounds good)
Thanks!
