How the hell am I supposed to limit it to 270 degrees for formula type cars?

And anyone using 900 degree steering, how the hell do you guys manage hairpins with this...

I use logitech df pro and there is a three button combination that switches instantly between full 900 and 270°. Think its the select+ r2+ r3 cant remember exactly. Wonder if they would have put in a similar function for the g27

simple, go to logitech profiler, or wingman if you use that, and change degrees of rotation from900 to 270 before starting your games.
:)

I use 400, like the real cars (though that may vary by car, the F10 Ferrari was 400). GT5 automatically sets the wheel per car.

I have to download this software (logitech profiler) on PC and then i can easily adjust the rotation from 900 to 270 on PC ? and then plug wheel back to PS3?

That will do nothing, there is nothing you can change on the PC that will effect the PS3. GT5 has all the cars setup to the wheel as they are, you arent using 900 degrees with the F1 car anyway.

steering lock changes from track to track.

In Monaco the teams run around 450 just because of the hairpin.

Go to the steering sensitivity in the game option and set it to 6 or 7

crank up sensitivity and practice being smooth on the wheel

I run my formulas with 7 steering sensitivity. seems to be PERFECT. you can still turn all the way to lock (on the g27) but you WILL NEVER need to

Yes automatically sets it to 900º every car even F1... I just noticed it the other day using the Ferrari F10... in cockpit the steering wheel stops turning at 270 more or less but the wheels keep turning until it reaches 900º

Hi all, I know, its an old thread, but I did notice the same with the G27, any solution found in the meantime? this would realy help me a lot 👍

I thought this didnt affect wheels.

It does. I use sensitivety at 7 for everything but ovals since in pack racing the slightest error means everyone is in the wall. The only time it gets tough with steering at 7 is the hairpin in monaco. You need to turn to about 270 and give a little gas to make it without hitting the outside wall or taking your hads off the wheel.
