Is this a huge problem with them or isolated. I was reading on Logitechs forums about this happening. Someone over there has a fix for it but as seeing as they are back in stock and i was thinking about ordering one i was just wondering.

It seems like a common problem on there. But i also believe alot of them are complaining cause theirs did have a problem. Im sure there are alot of people that have G27's with no problem, including me. But I have only used mine for about a week. So can't tell you for sure or not if it will happen to me. Although, im sure logitech will take care of you if it does this problem.

Hmm this is the first I've heard about problems. I've had my G27 refurb for 6 months and it's been flawless.

I've had mine since May, and it's worked great all along.... I'm very happy with it. If it broke tomorrow I'd have a new ordered by monday, it's a great wheel

Thanks for feed back guys.

For the most part are guys happy with them?
I was in the beginning but now that I used the G27 more often, I'm not that happy with it anymore. The cluncking sound of the gears is loud and there is a deadzone in some games.

Even if it does start going out of alignment, it's a real easy fix, I've done it myself, nothing to worry about.

Has anyone come up with a fix for this clunking noise i've seen in youtube videos?

Unfortunately, it is to do with the motors inside the wheel..... so no. But if your volume is up loud enough, or you use headphones, you won't realise it.
