Hi recently bought a g29 after having a non force feedback wheel and I'm really struggling with it specially when I power out of a corner and car spins out into barriers and takes a age to get going again I understand it will be alot different to a non ffb but I'm really struggling and finding it hard to get anywhere near half decent lap times

Any help on setup or jus general advice woukd be gratefully recieved ...thankyou

ive had mine for years now. great wheel if you set it right.

try this...
in the options menu during a race pause, got to controller settings

from top of menu going down set

CONTROLLER STRENGTH 10
then the last 2 i cant remember exactly the description so try setting the bottom slider to 2 and next above set at 3 or 4.

this is a nice easy going setting that shows much detail but not much force to fight with

once you get used to that try... the bottom set to 8 and the one above set to 8.

the 8/8 i think feels as close as i can feel to real cars.

the thing it took me forever to understand is if youre fighting against your wheel its to high. try ti find the fight vs the beginning of detail then try something in between and as you get used to it more you can get way better times.

a hard hit or bump should cause the wheel to pull but not so hard it throws your car out of balance fighting the force vs controlling the force.

also in the main options menu top right of the main map screen go to options and controllers. theres an option in that dealing with vibration level. set the slider dead middle iirc is 75. this gives you more little details such as gravel feel, road smoothness and suspension details. i find if set hight than 75 it seems very unrealistic and can vibrate so hard itll throw your wheel detail to far. 35-40 is as low as id go until you get better.
