Gamble Racing (a rough idea)

I came up with this idea of gambling credits while racing. The idea started a few weeks ago when i tried out the TDU2 casino dlc. I was thinking to myself how would gambling money be integrated into racing? and the idea was born. Basically, players have the option to bet money (minimum of 1000 credits if you want to participate). however, you cannot withdraw your bet. the race starts, depending on the host. whoever reaches a podium finish gets a sum of the money! you can alter which positions will earn the money, whether it's split up by first, second, and third or everyone gets a sum of money but the first place winner gets the lion's share. what do you think?

Its a really good idea, kind of like Black Ops.. even though i hate the game.. but it would be cool to put alot of money on the line, and just place it on you driving skill. i'd be hittin the High Roller events far to often :P
 
this way you can actually get something out of your good driving.

...which brings me to good driving bonuses! if you limit your vehicular contact whilst remaining in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd position your reward can be multiplied by up to 2 times (that's if any, or at all contact is made against other drivers.)

That is a much better idea. Will promote clean racing. As for gambling, COD can do it because it is a M game, gambling I doubt will be allowed in a game that is open to everyone.
 
Problem is with the unlocked saves. Whats to stop people from getting 20 mil credits making a backup save and then racing against friends for 5-10mil credits and letting them win and just restoring the backup save?
 
It's called "punting", and it's the foremost reason this would suck.

In theory it could be fun though. But it's called "punting".
