Game Breaking Cheating/Glitch

But not everyone is doing it though, and money glitching in GTA didn't really affect other players, whereas this people are just straight cheating a win.

I know that if I find out this is rife online then I won't be racing online. There's no point in taking part if somebody can just glitch a win by reversing into the pit lane.

Yes, I have not come across it myself yet, so it's certainly not the "norm" at the moment but if it starts to be (very possible with the championship races) then there is no point playing. That's why it also needs an in-game message that tells people, "anymore of this online and you will be banned", they cannot let this get any more widespread.

These people should be banned. One thing is using a glitch offline, another is to go online and ruin other people's fun. And they're usually slow and suck so I don't get the idea.

They really should be banned. Hell, if a glitch leads to unrealistic lap times, they should probably just leave the bug to bait people and then ban people with the unrealistic times.

Should test that in a lobby. Only the backmarkers will have access to the pits though.

Seriously, I haven’t had that issue yet. Just crazy kamikaze drivers ;)

And what happens in the -extreme case,I know- when someone get pushed that way from another player?
There should not be an exploit of this kind in the first place (especially in an "polished e-sport AAA title").Since there is,they should patch this yesterday.

EDIT:Can anyone who played against these players report their SR/DR rating changes after the race?

oh totally..

I mean let's be honest, it should be a comprehensive double pronged approach of fixing the bug and banning ******** times. I was just saying that it would be funny if it was a giant trap set by Poly to catch cheaters.
 
It's no use letting people do the glitch then banning them, as it strips the real winner of the race from his/her victory.

This needs to be patched and anyone who has used the exploit needs a warning and a demotion in their SR. Then if they get caught doing any further cheating they should be banned.

But do you realise how long it takes to get to level 50 playing 'straight'?

You need c.2 million exp points to get from lvl 40 to lvl 50... that's the equivalent of running >50x Blue Moon 24 hour endurance races in a N300 car vs a grp1 opponent. If you play the game 'normally' for a couple of years you might eventually get to lvl 50 and unlock the Platinum trophy.

Ok, that sounds a little too much....well, not just a little! :scared:
But still, I rather see people after 2 years of GTS reaching level50 instead of everyone reaching max level after a few weeks by glitching.
Of course its a long way to grind if you want to get the platinum trophy, but then again, why do people even bother for Platinum? What does it give you? I never understood.... :odd: (Just my Opinion btw)

Why? Because it's there.

I want Platinum, all the cars, all the measures full.... then I will relax and just race on line or time trial. Maybe a minor OCD thing.

I hope PD watch the videos and ban anyone caught doing these exploits, or at the very least slap them in the lowest SR level group permanently.

Especially since these exploits exists since the day of Open Beta (afaik)
 
What about Dragon Trail? I won't enter again until it's fixed. The pit is closed while TT but I don't know if it is in the race itself.

It’s exponential! The pits are only closed online so you can glitch the hell out of the game offline if you have the patience to do it. I don’t care so much so I’m at 41. I only used it to buy the last VGTs but they are meh. Glad I didn’t waste hard earned credits.

I agree its cheating and unfair to online gaming....what's the point??? The top ten racers this morning at autodrom Italy with Lamborghini huracan cars is a joke watch the replays of the so called top ten drivers lap times...they all cheat and go off track...complete joke and just takes the fun out the game...like EA sports...if anyone caught cheating is in the call of duty games they strip players of titles and reset the status the same should be done here at gt sport maybe the challenge would be fairer and more satisfying and worth playing.

I know the topic is old but it's only been this morning...the glitch hasn't been sorted or maybe it has on some ps4 communities but certainly not here.try it and see for yourself if it's the same.

This has been fixed for several months. There is no known cheating in sport mode. If there was, people would be talking about it.

That glitch was fixed even before the grip bug was discovered and also the tire healing bug which came after the grip bug is already solved...

I am pretty sure all of this bugs are solved and not working anymore, because if they would do, we would have a new thread about it.
 
Well I swear it was happening this morning the cars were going full speed down the long straight,instead of slowing for the s bend which is a right turn first the cars went straight through onto the grass,the car got placed back on track automatically and again at the next s bend the cars slowed and drove inbetween the 2 red bollards before commencing onto the next straight which dips under the bridge they were going straight off the track cutting over grass and sand back onto the track and finishing with lap times of 1:20 odd seconds.Its obviously not been taken off here...the glitch still here.

Sorry it's a time of 1:51.205 and it's the autodrom nazionale Monza. If you click on top ten stars qualifying times and watch the replays it shows ye the cars going off and cheating if it's fixed why is it on my ps4???

Shortcut penalties don't count towards lap times. It's easy to cheat to get the fastest lap. That has never been fixed by PD. Since you can now afford a lot more penalty time before the time starts to increase, it's easier to cheat for the fastest lap.

They also never fixed finish positions in the back field. In Some races 75% don't get to the finish in time due to matchmaking putting aliens up front with the rest down to D/S. If you time out for the finish with a large penalty time racked up, the penalty time goes away and you keep your position for the DR scoring. If you're a minute behind the leader, cheat, bump, cut the track and secure your position!

It's just crazy I tried it and it gives you seconds up on the screen which only go away if you slow down resulting in a slow lap.!!!

Uhm, don't slow down, just drive on with up to 20 sec of penalties on the clock, super fast lap! In the race that is, in qualifying it adds to your lap time and invalidates the next lap. However you can still get a faster qualifying time by doing short cuts on Monza and serving the time. See the top 10 leaderboard... The game needs to invalidate the current lap if you get a penalty.
