Game freeze?

Every time I open the Nissan dealership my game freezes. Every time. Well freeze is too harsh. It seems it just stops loading. The first t.v. width of thumbnails pops up, sometimes more, but then all the others just have a name and a transparent square.
Note: The music also stops shortly after entering the Nissan dealership, there is no recovery from it, and my disc is clean/no scratches.

Wtf? Iv experienced a LOT of the gt5 voodoo before, but this is just flat weird.
 
Nissan and PD canceled their contract, this is the result of this disagreement.

I'd start backing my data up if I were you. Sounds like something is on the way out.
 
hey this is that glitch i posted on, you drives on its way to heaven same **** happened to me bro!
music goes blank and the game stops loading, your drives dead, mine hasent officialy died but games freeze while loading now or they just dont load something
 
Hi, Have you polished the disc lately? Also try cleaning the laser lens with a cleaning disc. I put "sticky bumpers" (the kind you use on picture frames) under my PS3 to help keep it cooler when doing enduros...seemed to help with the dreaded freeze.
 
Ok something similar happened to me and I deleted my game data (not game save) and reloaded gt5, instaled the files so it loads quicker and all the patches and it worked. For me, it would freeze when "installing" popped up in the right bottom corner so i figured it was just corrupt.
 
I suppose the way of resolution of the bug is dependent on how you came to know it stops loading whenever you visit the dealerships, has the freeze been happening since you first bought the game or later realized it never shows up the dealership of Nissan and PD without having a permanent pause?

Maybe you could've tried to back up your data to reload the game, or you should check your PS3 whether the ambient environment is well or not - accumulation of some dust can sometimes be a cause of loading errors and breakdown, although it's uneasy to judge your PS3 itself has trouble if you don't find any of such errors in other games.
 
Yeah it's only gt5 that im having any problems with. Il try and delete my game data tonight/reinstall and hopefully that fixes it. Sometimes it freezes when it says installing, sometimes not. Il probably open it up and blow the dust out tonight to. It has been a while (never)...
 
its your disk drive...
killzone 3 no longer does the voice glith after i got my laser replaced and gt5 no longer takes 2 mins to load a level lol
my lasers died out after glitching this exact same way
 
Happens all the time. Thought it was just me. 85% of the time I go into the Nissan dealership, it crashes.
 
This has never happened to me. Maybe try reinstalling, or maybe you have a bad disc. Or maybe like I said, PD and Nissan had a dispute...

I think we've been spelling it wrong, I beleave it's Nossan...
 
If you have a ps3 slim it could be faulty firmware which can lead to corrupt data on your HD. Apparently there are some ps3 slims that have the wrong firmware installed before you even get it out of the box.
