Ok I hear alot of threads on internet forums about what people what in the next GT5 or Forza 2 now what am doing at the minute is forming an idea in my head its a game called Car Culture the ulimate car experience the idea of this game is to let people experience all elments of the culture around cars wheather that be Classic cars or modified cars the game will inculde racing but also inculde lots of other different things like car shows Show N shine racing rallying etc now heres where I run into troblue I don't have 30 million to make this game how on earth do I go about getting it made

Get $30M. That's the only way. Or, make it yourself.

At game companies, everyone has ideas on what games should be made. I'm lucky to have a small idea implemented in a game I don't like, much less actually design an entire game. We pitch 10-15 games to publishers before one gets bitten.

So, it's time to start earnin', or start codin'. Those are the only two paths to seeing your game idea on store shelves.

Live for Speed has been a big success, and it was created by three (yes, three) people.

If you really believe you've got something good, start working on it, and start a website for it...if you can produce something playable and people like it, a community and fanbase will begin to form... :)

What programs sould I use I have a modelling program called Zmodeler (Have no idea on how to use it or how it works) what other things do I need and if I use real cars (which I want have about 1000 to make) what are the chances of some suits appering on my doorstep

3ds max is a program often used for 3d modelling. I would advise searching for forums on this sort of thing, that way you can talk with people who share your aspirations.

What one thing i don't understand is how they made it so realistic:)

Simple -- they built a dynamic physics system that responds to driver inputs as physical processes on the car (for example, gas = torque applied to the drive wheels, steering = front wheels rotate), rather than having the car respond directly to the inputs (for example, gas = move forward, steering = car rotates). Then, they tweaked everything until it felt right, and have been continually making the physics more complex (with simulated tire deformation and 3D suspension geometry) and adding more tweaks, all while listening to their customers' suggestions (important point there).

Okay, so maybe that wasn't very simple.
