Ok I wanted to mod an offline Halo Reach profile, but I have some questions

1.Is it legal?
2.Are the files safe?
3.About how long does it take?

It takes about 5 minutes, it is "legal" but against TOS (they'll only know if you tell them), and your files are safe unless you screw it up.

Use Google for a tutorial.

That's not really a "game mod" so you might change the title.
