Games testing

Hi guys

So ive been jobless since the new year and ive had no luck finding a job whatsoever! im now interested in becoming a games tester, but ive no idea what is involved.

Are any of you games testers or have done games testing who can give my advice on this...thanks in advance!

I've heard it's a really, really bad job to have. I don't know how old you are but you might want to consider an apprenticeship instead (good if you're young as they don't pay too well but you learn on the job) or do a part-time course like I am (BTEC electronic engineering) to get some useful qualifications whilst allowing you to find part-time work.

Ok that sounds interesting..ive read a few articles online saying thats its quite a bad job to have..im just looking at the options and doing a little research..
