I know that GT2 can be played through the PSP while using remote play but what other games are compatible with this mode? Frankly, I think GT2 bites, and the response is a bit sluggish during play on the PSP, I thought that maybe since it was a blue disc that other blue discs would work but shot that down when my Ford Racing wound up not being compatable, so what other games can I play like this?💡
As noted, all PS1 games can be Remote Played, Pixel Junk Monsters can be Remote Played, and a handful of other PSN games. I know I have heard that Bionic Commando Rearmed is supposed to be Remote Playable.
I think your "blue disc" issue is that blue discs were traditionally how you could tell a CD-ROM from a DVD-ROM on the PS2 games. Disc color will mean nothing, only if they are a native PS1 game will matter.
HUH????

You can play PS2 games on the PS3... I do all the time especially seeig as how to date the only decent racing game(TOCA 3) is a PS2 game.If I understand correctly the 20 gig has the PS1 and PS2 chips just like my 60 gig PS3 does which enale it full ackwards compataility on virtually all material So far I have found that my PS3 will not read my Game Shark disc The 40 gig PS3 willn ot read any discs that are not PS3 and the 80 gig will read most PS1 and PS2 games ut only does so ecause it is written into the software. I have heard that this makes the 80 gig a bit glitchy when reading PS2 and 1 games.
I believe he was speaking about Remote Play only.
I do find it good news that Sony plans on making more games plauyable through Remote Play for the PSP . So far the only race game on the PSP worth a darn is Race Driver 2006 also known as TOCA 2. I was really disapointed with GT2. In fact I didn't even getinot the GT series until GT3 Aspec. The graphics and handling in GT2 just seemed to lack alot
Well, it was a PS1 game. I mean, you can't fairly compare it to PS2 games, can you? Trust me, for its time it was awesome.
Here is the list Wikipedia gives as being Remote Playable:
Lair (video game)
High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition
Aqua Vita (Aquatopia in the United States)
Mainichi Issho (Japanese Game)
Imabikisou
PixelJunk Monsters (PSN game)
Folding@Home (Software)
PlayStation 1 Games
