In my opinion, if a car is "gangsta", it has to look like it would steal your wallet and burn your house down.

I'm sorry to go O/T, but I have to say that this is the first documented case of an aftermarket tuner style body kit actually improving the looks af a car. Now, considering it took an Aztek to make that possible, I'm not sure how much that says.

Oh, and for the record, yw doesn't entirely understand the concept of "gangsta" apparently.

[edit] PR, those ka-ching wheels are quite possibly the single tackiest thing I have seen in my entire life.

That Aztek is by far the coolest thing I've ever seen, it definatly has the C5R motor in it. They had it as some GM thing I went to and they started it up for the crowd. Sweet Jesus!

Yeah, I've read about that. For one millisecond I was sad they were cancelling it...

There was a fellow on another board I used to be on that worked at the place that was responsable for that piece. It was actually very impressive, he showed us complete photograph documentary of the build and porcess of that particular project. Very interesting indeed.

And you live ????

So what gang were you in. I'll show you my gang tattoo if you show me yours.

Are you better than other civilized people who don't waste their time on degenerate activities because yous a Gangsta?!

You're 17 and in a gang. Great. That doesn't exactly improve your status here, going around saying "I'm in a gang!" doesn't exactly improve others' opinions of you.

Duke has been on this earth at least twice as long as you. (I'm not saying you're an old man, Duke) I would think he has more wisdom in social issues and such, because he's been there, done that. (not saying you were ever in a gang, either) Y_W, If you're in a gang, don't the older members take seniority because they've been in the gang longer? If so, then why are you questioning the "elders" of GTP?

Skip's bone Thug!!1!

Whats that got to do with debating about what type of cars gangsters and drug dealers drive? I think I would have a better idea as I am and I live between them.

Hmm...let me think what the drug dealers I know drive
- 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass 2 dr, about 120,000 miles and wear to match
- 1997 Nissan Altima, stock, decent condition
- 2nd gen Jeep Grand Cherokee with plastic "spinnaz"
- 1998 Pontiac Grand Am
- mid-nineties Chevy Tahoe
- Toyota Sienna van
- 1985-ish Toyota Camry
- 1st gen Acura Integra 4-door
- 3rd Gen 305 Firebird
- Chevy Celebrity

Becuase we all know drug dealing is such a profitable enterprise  and every drug dealer is just like on MTV with a blinging SUV

Actually wouldn't gangster cars be those 1920's -1930's Caddys, Lincolns, etc.? I mean look at the old Advengers series and you'll see what I'm talking about. Or just go play the game Mafia.

Real gangsta cars are what the Mafia rolled around in back in the day like Blazin' said. Those were the ultimate gangsta cars.

All these big ass SUVs are nothing gangsta...more like Gangsta Posers.

There is a difference:

Gangster - 1920's -1930's bootlegger, mobster, etc.
Gangsta - Idiots who thing they are cool by putting hugh wheels on Escalades witout even considering a brake upgrade.

THE quintessential gangster car is Al Capone's Bulletproof, 8000 lb. Cadillac V-16.

39-41 Fords were the moonshinemobiles back in the day...

A celebrity, huh?

Dang! He's really rolling in the dough in his "honorable" trade. {/sarcasm}

High-Test
You're a drug dealer?!

You're starting in the right direction..

Ex.

As I turned 16 profits for the risks involved werent worth it as I wouldnt be treated as a minor anymore.

So what do gangsters of 2005 drive then?
Personally I think you lot have watched one too many godfather movies.
What about the yardies and and yakuza what do they drive?

Its against the AUP to talk about illegal activity, and drug dealing is an ilegal activity.

AUP
You will not use these forums to violate any laws nor to discuss illegal activities.

Please refrain from talking about that in the future. We don't care that you sold drugs when you were young...in fact I find it hard to believe, but never the less as a long term poster on these boards I am asking you to please obey the AUP.

Back on Topic:
Every gang memeber in Detroit has a beat up Caprice, Caddy, or Lincoln. So I'm guessing thats the car of choice among them. The only drug dealer I've ever seen with a decent car was at my high school some odd years ago, it was a Toyota Sequoia, with limo tinted windows all the way around, a sound system that made my brain itch, and 24 inch rims. He crashed his truck because he was high and didn't realize when you buy bigger rims you need bigger brakes.

Usually the biggest problem with blinged out SUVs is that the new tires are too grippy. The stock tires are designed to break traction before the car is in risk of rollover. That combined with a higher center of gravity...

Blazing people asked me and I gave them an answer. Also there has been threads about drug use in which many people told of their experiences so I think that just because I used to deal doesnt violate the "aup". Are the lincolns and caddys beat up aswell. Obviously there are alot of low small time drug dealers who might aswell not bother for the profits involved. Unless you slink cocaine to individual customers you aint makin much money.

The gangsters im talking about are in there twenties and usually drive some kind of bimmer or merc with blacked out windows.
