Garage HRS create some exceedingly rapid Lancer Evolutions. I thought I'd start this thread to show you what they're all about.

This is their 2003 Lancer Evolution 7 CyberEvo

Basic Specs:

Torque: 529lb/ft@5308rpm

See the full specs and more pics here...

Tsukuba Lap: 56' 588 (06.03.2003) Watch it here...
Driver: Eiji "Tarzan" Yamada

Here is the faster 2004 CyberEvo 7, which clocked a 55'976 at Tsukuba

Too much stickers, I bet they weight down the car.:D

If it didn't have the stickers it wouldn't have the important parts inside it! ;)

Tsukuba is getting owned by awd's.. Who has the top 5 times there now?

I think, but please correct me if I'm wrong, that three of the top five are Lancers:

- Garage HRS/APEXi CyberEvo 7 '04
- Garage HRS/APEXi CyberEvo 7 '03 (Above)
- JUN Auto Hyper Lemon V

EDIT: And that HKS Evo VIII that Punkrock posted in the Imports thread also looks like it could smash a few records!

Evolutions are my favorite car. I wish people will learn that you don't need to rice out a car to make it fast. I bet they could take .5 off their time if they just took all of the unecessary CRAP off that is all over that poor Lancer.

Oh, and how many Tsukuba lap record braking Lancers have you personally prepared? You should become a comedian!

It's 700ps, not 700hp, just so you know.

Oops.

BTW, how do you convert ps to hp?
I think i read somewhere they are quite similar. Just a little difference.

They're quite similar:

Convert BHP to PS - Multiply BHP by 1.01387 there or there abouts :)
Convert PS to BHP - Divide PS by 1.01387 (but you knew that anyway, I hope) ;)

Norris Designs in UK made a 715bhp Evo VII. Pretty fricking amazing. At the time it was the most powerful evo in the world i think. I want one :D

You know, there are things called sponsors, that appreciate it when you put their logo on your car, and then race that thing. Downforce is useful on a racecar, too, so that rear wing and the front winglets have a true purpose.

As far as i can remember, Bozz Speed's EVO VI was also in the 56' range at Tsukuba, but i haven't seen that car mentionned anywhere in a long time...

Ahh, there it is. Seems it's in the 58 second bracket, not 56. Oh well.
