OK. I love GT5, see my signature!

BUT....

I may decide that I'd like to try a Ferrari in a particular race, so:-
I click on garage...It selects Premium by default, no problem with that.
click on Italy...Wait.
click on Ferrari...Wait, and look at the choice.

IF I don't see the Ferrari I want I click on Standard or Favourites and my choice of county and manufacturer is lost, so:-
I click on Italy...wait.
click on Ferrari...Wait, and look at the choice.

Now the garage option to view by, say Performance Points or BHP, is remembered but not country or manufacturer! This I find very frustrating especially as I now have over 1300 cars and it wastes time.

Anyone else annoyed by this?

You picked a bad example because there are no standard Ferrari's but yeah, I see where you're coming from.

I have this same problem, I'm an avid car collector( about 1200) but it takes forever to load! I suggest buying two flash drives, save your data on both and REMEMBER which one is which!!!! On one keep your completed collection (set aside) on the other get rid of all the BS cars will NEVER use by selling them or removing them from your garage, and if you plan on playing online load up the "smaller garage" flash drive when your done save it to that flash drive then reload your other one back up with all your data when your doing seasonal events or time trials or whatever!

Buy less cars.

Jay Leno has the same issue when He clicks his fingers and a platoon of mooks drive and shunt his cars about so they are in a certain order for him as well.

My tip is get a SSD drive for the PS3 like I did,GT5 loads at least 3x faster and you shouldn't have any problems :)

Selecting the country shortens the 'make' search quite dramatically in most cases, so, with that many cars, it makes sense to do this.

When u click on make u can press the right or left directional to skip up or down 5 makes at a time, also works for makes of paints!

How did I not know this? I guess I'd become resigned to the idea that PD had given up on such shortcuts.
Thanks, by the way. 👍
