It's not a setting.

You'll find it on the right side of the World Map, indicated by the trophy (a replica of a sculpture called "Unique Forms of Continuity in Space" made by Umberto Boccioni). It unlocks once you complete Cafe Menu Book 9, "Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade" and contains all the Daily Races, all the Time Trials, and any official competition events like the GT World Series.

Iv just had a go, the hours just fly past don't they.
I did some time trials on Spa and Monza, on Suzuka I drove a McLaren F1, that's the closest ill ever get to driving a real one, very enjoyable.

In relation to the topic of the thread's title

SPECIFICALLY LOGITECH G29 AND SIMILAR PEDALS:

When your brake or gas pedals become erratic or unreliable, and the actions on the screen don't match with the pedals actual inputs, especially if you set your pedals on carpets all the time or you wear socks...
I would say depending on how often you play, dust bunnies will get onto your pots and crevices behind and inside the pedals.

It can be as soon as 6 months of play, to over 2 years of use....

Check first on the pedal calibration page, you will clearly see when it is NOT functioning correctly and there will be inputs or non inputs where there should be....

That's the time you will have to open up the pedals and be very careful with the electronics AND the thin small wires...

Dust it all up and clean up remove all of the dust... Possibly use isopropyl alcohol.

I just did that and my pedals are all brand new now....

Works so well compared to how it was before.


This is to say that: nothing wrong with the cars or the code, it's your pedals and dust bunnies Infiltrating in.

I HAVE A FIX!!! This happened to me and I couldn't figure out why. I contacted Thrustmaster and had EVERYTHING checked. They found no issues. HERE'S THE FIX:
Recalibrate your pedals in GT7. BUT! Do each pedal separately and REALLY, REALLY SLOWLY. Like, as slow as you can possibly manage. It seems to register inputs bit by bit, so if you calibrated by stamping down the pedal, it reads 0% + 100% and nothing else. If you do it too fast it records (for example) 0%, 25%, 70%, 100%. Anywhere in between those recorded inputs is basically ignored. So 25-69% would result in 25% input, then 70-99% as 70%. 100% becomes one, flaky input; one number in 65,536 possible inputs – the accuracy of the pedal set. Drop off that specific input, and you lose connection until you reapply the pedal. I hope this helps others out there. Let me know.
