Gear Club Mobile by Eden Games iOS/Android

Here is a sneek peek at the game formerly known as GT spirit, looks pretty decent for a mobile game. It's definitely a David Nadal game, looks awfully TDU3'ish but clearly this is a track racer.

Hmm... kind of seems like a Test Drive Unlimited series game for mobile devices. Then again (and I just noticed this), I noted "Eden Games [Mobile]" in the title- as in the same Eden Games that was behind Test Drive Unlimited 2. So it's safe to say if you like the TDU series, you might like Gear.Club.

Thinking back to TDU2, I still think it was a great game, but could have been much better. Maybe this Gear.Club will right the wrongs of TDU2.

David Nadal's Eden Games was responsible for TDU1. He sold the studio to Atari before TDU2 was made. So it's safe to say the mess that was TDU2 had nothing to do with David Nadal. He reopened the studio in 2014, which is unaffiliated with Atari.

My brother just told me about this game being the one used for World's Fastest Gamer competition. Going to give it a go now.

Edit:

Looks like it will start at 9AM UK time, need to have 50 gold to enter which shouldn't be too hard to get. First impression is that it feels quite vague the limit of the car, will see later on today to see how slow I am. Hopefully a GTPer wins this.

*Fixes*:

-The controller support is back on Android devices: Since the 1.19 update, players were not able to play using controllers, it is now fixed.

-The back button in league will now stick to its place: when checking the leaderboard some players were experiencing a bug preventing the back button to appear and forcing them to restart the game in order to return to the worldmap.

-Artificial Intelligence stabilization: we proceeded to some AI improvements especially in their behavior and physics (collision issue resulting in massive pile-up that could potentially get in players way).
