DJ Doboy doesn't create his own music, he just mixes.

I know, I didnt say he was... I dont care if its their own music or not, if its good to my ears, I shake the entire house with my subs :D

EDIT: I add DJ Dawn in my list... I heard some good mixes of him today on DI... WOW !!!

If Emo took over Electronic music, this would be it. Sorry, Giancarlo, it's just not my style. Also, their "We Need a War" song really rubbed me the wrong way. Wars are not wanted, they are necessary, but that's a whole different discussion.

I just got it, it's not that bad.

DI.com does indeed suck now. 96kbps streams just are not enough. Bless the soul who uploads the premium 192kbps stream for ASOT every week. :D Try etn.fm for some excellent 192kbps trance and progressive streams.

Nice to see this thread is still alive, and yeah etn is really good for some quality prog.

Yup thats bad that DI is 96kbps... But since I got my Behringer mixing console, DI sounds like 320kbps... Its a good investment. Behringer EURORACK UB802, plug your computer in, and WOW !!!! Set the EQ and the things you want, thats some crazy sound coming out of this... :P

Germans does have really good technologies :)

There's a Show on Tues. called NCIS, does anyone know who their opening theme is by? It sounds BTish... I'd like to find it and music like it. Thanks

I looked on adtunes.com about that intro song for NCIS. It seems to have been created just for the show.

Both songs are the definition of cheese.

The first one is by ****tard DJ Scooter and the second is by Brooklyn Bounce.

Awake o thread. Can't just let it die can we!

Just wondering what peeps have been listening to Electronica wise recently, and if we can throw some recemendations each others way, we all win. I've been listening to:

Dj Shadow
Boards of Canada
Autechre
Air
The Chemical Brothers
Underworld
Infected Mushroom
Leftfield
The Orb
Thievery Corporation
Massive Attack
Sneaker Pimps and Portishead (ok it's trip hop, but well worth a mention)

All of em are in my are great in my eyes, but recently I've been loving the more ambient stuff, like the Boards of Canada etc.

So yes, electronica, woo!

DJ Shadow is trip hop, too.

I've been listening to a lot of this lately:
DJ Shadow (okay, so I've always listened to him a lot)
The Crystal Method (bass has never been so funky! :D)
Dieselboy
RJD2
Gabriel & Dresden
The Chemical Brothers

Good stuff. 👍
