all cars are from Japan and where not sold in other areas

Well I dont know what insurance is like in ireland but insurance for each of these cars will be very expensive if its anyhting like in the UK.

How much money do you plan on spending for your first car?

I think the glanzas the prettiest but parts could be expensive or hard to source.

Id go for the cyborg which btw was on sale in the UK and the that pulsar I dont think is real but rather a almera. Either way you wouldnt be able to insura a pulsar as it is.

So I think the cyborg would be the best and cheapest out the lot.

Being a Nissan fan, I'd go for the Pulsar VZ-R, but parts for that SR16 (mostly electronics not shared with the SR20) are definitely going to be a pain in the ass compared to any of the other cars here. Unless you're planning to swap it for a turbo SR20, I don't know if you'll be able to live with it.

The SR16 in the Pulsar is a great engine, but do you really want to have to rev that high to get it moving? Same goes for the Cyborg and the BZR (to a lesser extent).

I'd pick the Glanza, probably easier to insure and easier to modify if that's your thing. Plus it's a Toyota. Those things are a hoot to drive and mod, and they're not bad on the autocross for old FF cars.

The Levin BZR should come with a 20 valve 4AGE and when it comes to raw hard 1600 NA power the 4AGE together with the B16 (Honda) lead the way. If NA power what you're after then the Levin is good and they go damn well around corners too 👍

Yea, what Taurine said. The Toyotas are the ones you should be looking at. The Glanza is a nice car but I'd pick the Levin instead for a few reasons. A, it isn't turbo, like the Glanza so it'll probably be easier to insure. Insurance companies tend to get scared at the words turbo. B, the 4AGE is a great engine, grunty and revvy and it'll be much easier to find part for it if it breaks.

However, they're both good cars and if they're similar in price it would all be down to personal preference.

Levins are RARE like Dinosaurs in the UK. Glanzas are costly and the mirage cyborg was sold in the UK. Remeber guys UK not america. Our import scene isnt big at all if even existent.

The Glanza's are common here in Ireland and he have a import scence I like the Pulsar alot it sould easily outrun a EK9 (Type R Civic) the insurance is cheap on them as there logged as a 1.6 Almerla

JDM'er
still can outrun it the VZR-N1 is pushing out 220 but there was only 200 made

Though you're talking about getting the 1.6.

So this is a lot like saying "Imprezas can keep up with Evos." when you have an Impreza Sport (or GL).

If it's the special VZR N1 (FF, 190hp or so?), yes, it can outrun a stock Type-R, but aren't those high output SR16's rare as hell?

And I thought Britain's import scene was pretty good... considering Japanese imports are easier to get and legalize than in the US.

I have gone off the N1 200 hand made so that means I wouldn't be albe to buy parts if I broke it theres 6 on Irish roads but 2 have been crashed ones been crashed robbed and its for sale

Well, Pulsar GTiR, then? But those are insurance monsters, I think.
