Getting kicked out of races, losing sportsmanship, and more...

Recently with the September update the game got fundamentally broken for me, I am getting kicked out of daily races and when I get into one and complete it I don't get any money! And it just doesn't stop there, I lose sportsmanship when I ever so slightly give a teeny wheeny touch against another car and I sometimes get penalties when I accidentally drive with one tyre over the white line or with just taking a corner...

It also happens with my friend, does anyone have this problem like we do? Because this is getting frustrating with all this

I haven't seen the sportsmanship problem like you've described, but after the August update I've been disconnected much more frequently and also sometimes I'll get disconnected, enter the next race, get disconnected again and so on until I restart the PS4. Now I know if I get disconnected I already restart it just to be safe, but in the beginning I lost a lot of DR and SR because of being disconnected 3-4 times in a row.
 
Disconnects seem to be more frequent yet again. If you get disconnected after you enter the lobby, before it flashes online save at results confirmed (end of race), you are considered to have finished behind everyone that's still connected, lose DR to all of them and get 5 SR deducted for the disconnection.

Contact with another car costs 2 SR points when you see SR Down on the screen.
If the other car goes off road you get a time penalty and more heavy SR deduction. (Seems to be time penalty x 2, 3 sec -> -6 SR)

Track limits are inconsistent in GT Sport. In some places you can cut or go wide, in others you get a time penalty. It also depends on how fast you were going when going outside the invisible track limits. The faster the higher the penalty.

A wall contact costs 5 sec. Slight wall touches can be ok, wall riding can result in multiple 5 sec penalties.

I noticed that if you don't cross the finish line, ie you get timed out, you don't get any money any more.

Frustrating Sven.. .... I'm down to DR1 for being disconnected 5 times last 6 days...... unfortunately I think I'll give up on these GTSport mode races - too bad though as I was every day looking so very much forward to be racing live. It was honestly part of my enjoyment in life last two years....

So... a teeny tiny touch with a another car deducts 2 SR points? That sucks :C
 
Playing since release. Was disconnected maybe 3 times in 300 days. I play at night in Europe. 300/300mbs internet tho 99% of the time with full bars. Maybe it is regional problem?

Yep. Like I said elsewhere: One small non-threatening touch? Penalty. Someone turned into you? Penalty. Bumped from behind? Penalty.
 
My last race Gr4, race A - on the brakes into turn one (late breaking even) and then hit like a bomb from behind I was flying off the track got 3 seconds penalty the guy hit me far too hard in the back didn't get anything. He even ended up with a Blue A me with a Red A? .._..GTS - sad but bye for now.
 
When i get bumped i drive off track and into a wall, hurts my DR but at least you don't get red SR's (an occasional white one tho)

That frustrates me just reading it. The last time I did a sport mode race something similar happened to me too.
 
Well I don't have problems with the penalties at the moment but I do have issue with being kicked out of races or the race lobbies
whilst it's loading.

Was beginning to think the update had fixed the kicking problem but had it occur twice yesterday, hopefully this gets sorted at some stage.
