First it was TXR0, then GT3.
You know what I mean, the Supra! This car is a beast on the road, real life, but I cant understand why this car doesnt measure up to their real life standards. On TXR0, the Skyline is better, and the Supra is not.

Then, the Supra RZ on GT3 is not as powerful as the SKyline? WTF? Is this a curse against Toyota or what! If anything is true, is that a real Toyota Supra RZ can quite beat a Skyline in terms of raw power.

Uhh, have you taken a look at the Denso Sard Supra? One of the, if not the, fastest track FR cars in the game...but the stock Supra is ok, not the NA, but the Turbo version, it has potential.

i think the na one has potential as well... just not top speed or power that can match the tt version... na has its uses as well i mean... drifting will be smoother... shifts will be smoother... teh car will be easier to predict... i guess i am naming things that gt3 didnt incorporate tho...:O

why is it that you beat me to the punch almost every time?

The Denso & the Castrol Supra's will take out the Skyline's (JGTC) just about every time

Have personally driven a NA Supra and a R34 V-spec skyline, while the Skyline had the out and out power over everything else ive ever driven the NA Supra was by no means a slouch either, I just prefer the Turbo version

Well, school holidays now, so I'm always on...

I have no life...;)

i think supras rule becuase i own one 90 supra turbo, sucks that they took it out of gt3, i think it would be awesome to drive a car i own! well the mk4 supras sure do have a traction control problem, even with tcs on 5, you can drift in 4th gear in that car, breaks traction everytime with over 1000hp,
and the rz i have will outhandle the skyline and out accelerate it all the time, but when you get over 600hp on both the supra just cant keep from spinning, and the top speed of a supra is so awesome, it will hang with my best friends 1110hp Viper GTS he got his viper to do 282mph, and with drafting he got it to 294mph
it is one fast viper, ive gotten my supra to do 272mph

the supra does not outperform the r34 in real life. why do you think the skyline costs over 90k dollars while the supra sold for 35k dollars? comparing skyline to a supra is like comparing chcolate to ****. skyline outhandles the supra in stock form and with little modification it will destroy it on a straight line drag. supra is a drag racing car and cannot handle as well as a r34 in stock form.

...you should feel it at 125km/h changing into 3rd gear, still had 1500rpm to go before the redline...

Hello, I'm a mechanic at Toyota. My dealership sold the last Supra ever built :( . The Supra is an excellernt car, don't get me wrong. But, in the standing 0-400m, the GT-R will pull from the beginning and keep pulling. Top speed isn't an issue so I won't go into that. Turning now. The GT-R has excelling manuverablity due to its ATTESA system and has loads of grip due to it being 4WD. If you ever watch best motoring, you will notice that the Supra is hardly in any battles. It's usually FD, NA2, BNR34, and EVO's. This is because of it's crazy oversteering problems. The Amuse Supra is very quick and has unbelieveable responce. But, the GT-R is always trying to beat the Supra. Mine's GT-R is faster, no doubt about it. In JGTC, they race the perfect Supra that uses the SW20 3S-GTE. This motor, when tuned properly, can pull more ps than the RB26. The 3S-GTE is lighter, and has better responce. But the Supra is dead, but not for long. Just wait until the next Supra comes out. Nissan and Mazda will be blown away...

and I would hide ving :)

[soapbox]
actually, i havent seen a 3S Pull more than 800hp, even on a fully blown race motor with a T88. The RB26 can easily withstand 1000hp+ with Daily driver reliability.
[/soapbox]
:)

Very true. But I'm talking about JGTC. There's a limit to the power it can produce. A smaller 2.0L engine that produces the same power as a larger 2.6L engine is great. Outside of JGTC, the RB26 would kill the 3S-G.

Like it is going to really matter which car has more power, both of them are going to be able to effectively use all of it. You can only go through a corner so fast.

well toyota is Japanese if im not really mistaken and the Japanese made this game to make the Japanese cars about the same as real life and the rest pretty much suck

so your supra really must suck

sorry if that was considered ''potty mouth'' lol

The race versions can't. The Denso Sard is even better than the Castrol Supra.

Yeah, I've seen a few pictures of Supras over 1000hp that are road legal (only 2 different ones though ;))

BTW, welcome to GTPlanet Deity Drift, I hope you enjoy your stay! :)

He is talking about the 3S-GTE motor, the four banger that is in the Denso Sard and Castrol Supra. The 2JZGTE can handle 1000 horses and still be road legal. 800 horses would be a whole lot of power on a 2.0L four banger; not saying it couldn't be done, but that's alot of power for that size.

Oh :O My mistake, I'm not that familiar with engine names...I might throw the odd one around and stuff, but I'm not very good with them.

Oh it's cool . . . I just happen to know this because I own a Supra and just happened to remember this. The main reason I remember it though is because I am still trying to figure out why they took out the 3.0L Inline Six (which the Supra is known for) for the race cars.

in real life nissan's rb26dett is more powerful then toyotas 3jgzte 2? or whatever they call that engine...

some mag also has an issue of a supra with an rb26 engine...
