Ah, I see now. You are the reason why video games are such a political football. Let me give you some video game facts:
game (ENTERTAINING ACTIVITY)
noun
1 [C] an entertaining activity or sport, especially one played by children, or the equipment needed for such an activity:
a board game
indoor/computer games
The children played a game of cops and robbers.
I told the children to put their toys and games away.

From: http://www.theesa.com/facts/top_10_facts.phpThe average game player is 33 years old and has been playing games for 12 years.
The average age of the most frequent game buyer is 38 years old. In 2007, 92 percent of computer game buyers and 80 percent of console game buyers were over the age of 18.
I like this kind of self-moderation. I wonder if we can start a trend of this. Everyone who accidentally punts does this and it lets people know who did it on accident and owned up like an adult and who are acting like children.Oh man. I actually punted someone off by accident at the spoon curve at Suzuka Circuit. I normally don't contact people while I race and I think I upsetted someone when I rear ended a Nissan GTR. I was so guilty about the thing, I voluntarily gave myself a go through pit lane penalty at pit lane speed (80km/h or 50mph). Some how I didn't finish last though as I ended up 7th out of 9th.
Oh no, I understand you just fine. You think games are just for little kids, despite the fact that most video gamers are not little kids. So, by that rationale you think those of us trying to play the game the way it was intended to be played by PD should just shrug it off when they play like it is Burnout. This is where i wish i was more articulate but I'm not and I'm late so...
Am I missing something?
So kids should be able to have fun by throwing popcorn at your head in a movie theater? Look, the game is fun when played properly and we don';t see why a kid can only have fun by not playing it properly.I can see the fanatics point of view, you should be able to have a professional race just like F1 (where the first corner is the best bit) and kids should have their fun too.
I can't believe I am saying this, but I hope PD/Sony treat cheaters the way XBox Live does, by banning them. How much fun would those kids have then when they can't play any games online?that's for pd to sort out,
So, he is respecting the other gamers then? Please, explain that.as for the lack of respect insinuations..well they are pathetic,
There is a funny thing about online gaming. Those digital images are no longer computer controlled, mindless drones. They are interactions by people from the real world. Messing with the enjoyment of the game does affect people in the real world.anybody who has kids knows the fundamentals of respect are taught not by online gaming (neither is driving for that matter) but by the way you interact with people in the real world.
I have no intentions of questioning your parenting skills. I don't know where you live so your son's grades mean nothing to me because I don't know what scale that is on. Honestly, I don't care as far as this topic is concerned. Your son could be a drop-out, for all I care, as long as he plays online the way he should.
Then I will go back to the Opinions forum where it is taboo to walk away from a debate.Anyway I'm bored with defending myself now,
No, because we don't care if they are ugly or fat or stupid or lazy as long as they play online properly. We are equal opportunity here.hasn't anyone got any ugly kids we can pick on, with pictures, eating fast food, learning to drive on a logitech, and politely asking for more fast food.......respectfully?
