Getting the desired PD Formula GT Color

I think I turned off the PS2 while it was saving or something. The good thing is that I did all the licences in one day and all the missions in another. I'm already at 24.6%, and I started last saturday... yep, I'm unemployed :indiff:

i hope you get a job soon, wish you do get a job sooner than the orange F1, cuz i think it's more important. 👍 good luck with the job-searching.
 
i have gotton 2 orange F1 Cars :P

but trust me, its random

the 1st time i used a BMW touring car...the 2nd time i used my 1st orange Gran turismo....and the 3rd time i used the gran turismo again and got red....the 4th time i used the gran turiso again and got yellow/black - the grids were different for 1 & 2 but 3&4 were the same...so yeh its totally random it seems
 
I did it last night, with the Camaro Race Car and i got guess what color F1?

I'm now 19 hrs into it with the RX-8 Race Car, pleeeeeeeeeeeease, i want the orange F1, :( is it too much to ask after 27 times? :banghead:
Next, i'll do it with the Fiat 500 :indiff: yea, right!!
 
I can't 🤬 believe it, 38 times and still no orange F1 :grumpy: i'm now 19 hrs into #39 :scared: how many more times do i have to do this, PD? :mad:
Is there anyone who kept track of which car they used and which grid, when they got the orange F1?? pleeeeeeeease :indiff:

I'm sure Diego will get a job way before i get an orange F1.

I feel your pain. I've done the race tons of times to try to get the Red, White and Green one but no dice. I don't think car choice matters, but I'll help: the Toyota MINOLTA 88-CV has gotten me the orange one twice.
 
I have all the F1 colours, none are faster. I took me and B-Spec Jaques many days to get them all. Many times the same colour would come up over and over again.

I found that when you go and buy wheels or race in another event you would get a different colour when you go back. I think that colours change after every few GT days, (7 days ?) I never kept any record. Sorry! :guilty:

If you are looking for a different colour? I think there is a method, I just don't know what it is! If enough people keep a record we will find out!

For now, just keep trying! :nervous:

I guess I was lucky. I won the orange F1 the first time. :crazy:

Now, what the heck am i gonna do with 41 F1's? 💡

Its a bit like playing Roulette every time you race 24hr of Nurburgring, as to the colour of the F1 car you get. So far I've won 9 different colours. the only one I don't have is the black one.

The car that I use is the Gillet Vertigo Race Car 50,996.2 miles all done in B-spec.
the first 3 that I won were red, I was getting annoyed, then i read something over on GT Times by a friend of mine named Mr. Derek "Once the race is over, exit the race using the green arrow icon (-not the triangle on your controller-) once you've recieved your car save the game, and do another race of any kind, save the game again." Then do 24hr of Nurburgring again. This somehow increases your chances of getting a differient colour. Its worked ok for me so far.

Here's the setting from my Gillet Vertigo

Typed all this and didn't notice that you just won the orange F1 car

Turbo kit stage 3
Brakes 6/6

Spring rate 4.0/4.0
Ride height 70/70
Bound 10/10
Rebound 10/10
Camber 0.0/0.0

TCS 1

Downforce 20/35
Limited slip all 5's

For the gears move the final ratio to 2.500 then move Auto to 17

When you enter the race move the auto-pilot to 1 and overtake.
Now ignore your playstation for 24hrs, Yep you guessed it another F1 car!
It took me 2 weeks to get 9 colours, I'm still trying to see if it will give me a black one.

Keep going at it you will get the orange F1 eventually

Thanks Axeman, but as i mentioned on the previous post, i got all the colors at least x2, but only one arange. 👍
I think you get the black F1 only when you reach 100% :indiff:

I'll get all the colours evenually.

What cars should i use?
 
If you're using B-Spec, I wouldn't recommend doing the 24-Hour Nurb race with less than 4.000 points.

So far I've only done the MX-5 Enduro... but I'll get there, eventually.

well, excuuuuse me, if i didn't re-edit the post especially for you!!
i'll keep it in mind for next time :indiff: perhaps, i lost track of how many times i've done it? I just counted.... 41 F1's in garage, darn!
Darn, look, i didn't edit my signature either, it says 36 times :indiff: darn
oh, and guess what..... i'm now 21 hrs into #42, i'm getting greedy for another orange :indiff: good vitamin C
Nov/07, got a green/yellow F1 on #42, but got another orange on #43, so now i'm sooooo happy :indiff:
And got another green/yellow on #43 and another orange on #44....and still counting..

Raghavan, try the Mercedes CLK Touring car, add some upgrades and BoB/aka-BS-bs driver, should do just fine without experience :indiff: Good Luck!

Is there a technique in predicting or upping the chance of getting a prize car in your desired color?

As I don't have the patience and time in repetitiously entering Nurburgring 24 Hours Endurance, I only wanted the Red Polyphony Formula. Can anyone give me a hint or trick so I could enter the endurance only once or perhaps twice or thrice, and getting the prize car at my desired color?
