I HATE ghost lag!! I'm from australia and there are no real 1/4 rooms hosted by us.. So I join American lobbies seeing as there are heaps of them.. But everytime I race someone.. I am delayed by like 1-1.5 seconds at launch.. Is there anyway to make this fairer or are there any Aussie lobbies out there that I'm missing

I don't think I get what you're saying. Are you meaning that you get delayed because of the rubbish signal when playing in these lobbies?

Not sure, really. You could try changing your provider, or, just keep trying to find a room hosted by an Australian.

Changing the provider doesn't help.
And the second thing is exactly his problem: He can't find rooms hosted by australians.

I can validate what he is saying here since we have raced online multiple times. I have to intentionally try to go about a second after the ghost just to have a close race

GT get's their damn act together and puts in a darn proper drag mode.

I live in Canada and hate Amarican Ghost LAG

haha yea man, but like I said earlier, they aren't up to American standards haha.. Last night I was playing in a room and my R33 went undefeated against practically all their cars..
 
If only us Aussies didn't get ghost lag and had a system that could make even starts (not by time because 90% of people jump). Then we could see how well we do compare.

Also once an Aus room has more than 6 people, everyone starts acting up and bashing in the line, blocking on the track and getting in the way. Not only this but about 10% of them have half decent cars.
