Successor of Ghost of Tsushima

Out in 2025 (presumably).

New protagonist (Atsu), new era (1603).

GoT was one of my favourite games since the early Assassin's Creed parts and Witcher 3. Very hyped (which is something I'm very rarely).

Right now (expectedly) only announced for PS5.

This has to be Day One for me. GoT was one of my most played games of PS4 & then 5. So another Sucker Punch title is very welcome.

I’m excited for this game can’t wait to see it in action
Edit: Watched the full trailer and this looks very good. TBH I think it is good that that they left Jin's story open ended and moved to the new setting. I saw the flintlock rifle and I got really excited to see it. Hopefully they will release a demo for this before release

Very excited for this. Just the other day I started Ghost of Tsushima for my second playthrough since it released, what a fantastic game.

I can't believe I waited so long for Ghost of Tsushima to get the slightest whiff of a price drop, bought it immediately and still haven't played it years later and now there's a PC version and a sequel. I need to get my affairs in order, clearly.

This is your wake up call Mr Sesselpupser

Get to it, it’s one of the best games of its generation.

On a side note, I think I may reinstall it and do another play through.

Here's the state play for Ghost if Yotei

I must say I am really excited for this game. I love the new weapons especially the dual swords. The lo fi mode for the director of Samurai Champloo seems cool too. I am also loving the rifle. I almost want to pre-order. But I think I'll wait until Christmas time

GoT sits only second to my most favorite game of all time (Nier: Automata), but it's hands down the most beautiful video game I've played so far. Can't wait for the follow-up. 🙂

Dang that looks great. Think this is the most exciting game coming this year.

I was hoping to complete Tsushima (for a second time) before Yotei but I'm not sure I will. Sadly that means I've not played the Iki Island expansion.

They tell us the game is about as long as the first one. About 25 hours...

Man, my wife did a second run and is north of 150h. :D

It’s a very nice game. Played it on the hardest difficulty because of the fairly realistic swordfighting. Except for two boss battles which were unreasonably hard.

I still haven't completed the first one. September may have to be Tsushima month.

Same here. I absolutely want to finish GoT at some point and also get and finish the new one. I guess I will spread it out a bit though and maybe even wait till Yotei will have a nice discount.

Is Iki worth it? Never tried and somehow it seemed a bit off and not as good as the main game.
Iki is worth it. I have been playing it recently and I am glad I waited until I finished the main game before starting Iki. The enemies are much harder but once you get used it they are not as hard.

I saw that yesterday I didn't finish it because I wanted to explore the land myself

Seems like another very good game from Sucker Punch, and a step up from Tsushima (that was a 83/84 on MC & OC).

Pro looks glorious.

Me and my wife are great fans of the first one. I think she has about 150 hours alone on GoT.

That said, she is now on Rise of the Ronin, and afterwards we'll get AC Shadows in a sale. So i think GoY ist still a bit away for us. We can wait and wouldn't pay 80€ for a game anyway.

Still i think it will be the most satisfying experience of the bunch.

I understand. I am still working my way through Rise of Ronin. Definitely getting this but I do still need to finish up GoT

I frigging love this game. Was really weary about the sequel but they honestly knocked it out of the park.

Ive been playing with limited HUD on Lethal difficulty and for duels I turn on either the famed Kurosawa film mode or the now-new Takashi Miike which is a narrower FOV with more mud and blood effects.

Honestly a gorgeous game, just like Ghost of Tsushima and Red Dead Redemption 2. Definitely a game I will keep coming back to and do multiple playthroughs; Atsu's song is more than enough reason to do so.

Everything I have seen this game looks gorgeous. I don't plan on getting this around Christmas. It will be a late birthday gift. About 6 months late or maybe 6 months early 😁

Reading people's experience made considering the game from "buying this during huge discount" to buy it ASAP.

It reminds me a bit of Rise of the Ronin which I really love. I still need to start Alan Wake 2 and Lies of P from PS Plus first I guess....
