I'm not at that part of the game yet but I've heard that fight is insanely tough. Just beat The Oni last night and that took a good few tries. 😅

After several tries and moments where I felt I wanted to sent the controller flying, I took the easy way out: changed to casual difficulty, obtained ghost stance then spammed that, metsubushi/flaming kunai and spirit attacks with single/dual katanas until victory.

I think I changed to different armour/amulet set once the battle began.

The armor was of the undying samurai but maybe some other armor would have been more appropriate. I think amulets included the poison metsubushi and flaming kunai charms. And the perfect parry amulet.

Lol I haven't even beat any of the Yotei Six yet. Too much distraction from the birds and the random events.

Close to 25hrs into it now. Moving onto going after Kitsune but I'm trying to hit every possible side thing and clear each area, before doing more story stuff.

Realized that I'm not as far from Takezo as I thought. Only got two more dueling trees to go. Going to leave him until close to the end of the game tho, when I have my sword and everything else maxed out. Think I'm going to need as much help as I can. 😅

Not surprising. Some of the combos enemies are able to perform are super human. I wasn't aware this is a dark souls game. 😅

You know like when we perfect dodge, the game puts us in slow motion so we can counterattack ?

This jerk managed to hit me in the middle of that counterattack animation like Superman seeing the Flash in Justice League movie 🤣

After 60hrs. And around a month of playing, finally done.

Overall a fantastic experience. Loved how Sucker Punch didn't re-invent the wheel. It just felt like Ghost of Tsushima, with shiner paint. Only real negative I have, is that both Takezo and Saito can go and suck eggs. Ended up scaling down the difficulty to easy just be done with both those fights. :lol:

Takezo was enjoyable, for the first 12-15 times. :lol: Saito especially sucked because I burnt thru pretty much of all my consumables in the mission leading up to it. All I had was 1 Sake and a couple of Oni's Flames left over.

I was lucky I still have some of my quickfire weapons. Literally used all the fire kunai during the beginning to break his posture and then pray I make it to the end 😂
