Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter

How do you do an online Co-op? :dopey:

I think my problem with the game is the online multiplayer. It takes a minute to load a list of available games, then you have to wait several more minutes for a game to finish. Then you have to wait an 3 minutes because some idiot decides to wait to press "Ready". And for all that time waiting, all you get are spawn campers killing you 12 times, or a bunch of team killers. I honestly don't see why people say the GRAW multiplayer is great. :indiff:

But that said, the single player is awesome.
 
Ok I talked to AJ more about a mini series made in graw or a couple of movies with storylines, but we would need a couple of script writers. But who would like to write up scripts, I would be glad to add little snippets to the scripts.

However I would mainly do voice acting and playing acting.

Just join a room that friends already made. Heather and I spent most of the weekend in GRAW this weekend with Driftgod, _aj, and several other members. We had a great time and even unlocked some of the achievements for finishing 4 of the 12 co-op levels. 👍
Play a few games with us and you will love the multiplayer online. 👍 Most of the time we play with respawns because after all, who likes to sit dead watching other people play the game. :sly:

Since I was on vacation I had time to beat this entire game on the normal level. THen after that I almost beat the entire game on hard. Everything about this game is so awesome!! I really like how you can control the helicopters and the tanks in the single player. :dopey: I will finish the game on hard but its going to take a little while. These last few levels are getting very tough.

I just hope Diab clears up his space on his PC, so we can think about doing this. But you could do some snippets to the scripts, like ideas?

I also hope some other people with capture cards can film, however one thing, which needs to be done is working as a team when filming.
 
I am having a very tough time on the level where you have to protect the VIP #2 after the US Embassy blows up. I keep getting killed right before the Apache shows up. I had one with a very good chance of getting through it, but my guy got kinda stuck trying to heal one of my teammates and I just ended up getting overwhelmed because of it. I decided to take a break from it and play some NCAA Football 2007 because otherwise I would just too freakin' frustrated to continue trying to beat it.

Order your teammates to take cover behind a wall, and hide behind one of the walls. You should be near the rear of the Embassy, and then just pick off the enemies. Some enemies will also try to attack you from the side, so beware from that. And when the tank comes in, order your teammates to the very back of the Embassy, and hide there. Then, the Apache should come in, and then you need to use your cross-com to destroy what's left. The first time I tried the level I died at that part about a dozen times, but when I played it on hard mode, I died only once, and that was at the beginning because of pure foolishness.

I was playing it on Normal mode. I just kept struggling to keep both myself and my teammates alive. Every time I got close to getting the tank destroyed, I bit the dust. I am definitely very rusty when it comes to FPSs.

I may give that a try. Would switching my rifle over from single shot to automatic help at all? I have been running single shot just because I feel I do not waste as many bullets, but I may not be living up to my potential as a killing machine that way either.

Seriously, dude, no wonder you're sucking. Switch to multi-shot. You can take down enemies a lot faster, and you will not run out.
 
Yes, I've been running single shot the entire time. :lol: BTW, when I said run out of bullets quickly, I meant in each magazine, not total bullets. I figured a magazine would go quickly. But I definitely need to try multishot anyways.

Not necessarily. As you know, I've finished the whole game on Hard Mode, and never used multi-shot ONCE because it wastes too much ammo. I'd rather be more accurate and hit the fire button quickly then just use up mass bullets.

The level you're on is easy compared to later on (;)). I try to keep back as far back to the action as possible to take them out from a distance. Try to take cover as many times as you can and you'll be fine. To be honest, it's practice and trail-and-error until you really know how things work in that gunfight.
 
I finished the game on normal towards the end of last month. I found killing ontiveros VERY easy. I was probably lucky, but as soon as I saw where he was, he was a dead man. I switched to single shot, aim, fire, dead
 
Wait until you play the hard mode GJB, that's where it gets interesting. Anyway, no update from diab related to him cleaning up space on his PC, for the series.

I finished the entire game on normal and almost the entire game on hard. Switch to multi-shot as mentioned above. That helps a LOT. As mentioned above just order your team mates behind a wall but put them right next to you so you can heal them if they go down. You dont want to run around healing them. This is the final and best hint available to you. Right before the tank comes just throw out 2-3 smoke grenades and he wont even shoot you. By that time the Apache will arrive and you will easily own him. The smoke grenade hint will easily get you past that level. Have fun. 👍

Space is cleared but I've been too busy working and other stuff to get online recently. Plus when I do PGR3 C&M is just soo much fun.

I would have never even thought of using smoke grenades, maybe I should make use of them since they are available to me.

I pulled out GRAW for the first time in a while. I beat the single player on HARD over the weekend. Very proud of this. I almost gave up a couple times.
 
Sounds like a good achievement. I have barely touched my 360 since I got it back after sending it in . . . just do not have the time because of college at the moment.
 
the game is only 10 bucks at circuit city :). i was thinking about picking it up... but i dont even know if my system can handle the game. i still havent recieved my new motherboard and hard drive so i cant try out the demo...
Battlefield 2142 is also only 38 dollars at circuit city as well so... maybe i should get that? the demo ran very well on my pc.

will i get decent framerate with these specs?

i'm thinking of just buying the game i mean its only 10 bucks... but i am in college so money is tight :(

I absolutely love this for the 360 so for $10.00 on the PC I am sure you cant go wrong. Its truly a great game on the 360. One of my favorites. I heard the anti aliasing cant be turned on with the PC version. Check out the PC section to see people talk about GRAW for the PC. GRAW PC version
 
I just wish I had more time to play the game and classes did not keep me so busy all the time. I have really enjoyed what I have played of the game and would definitely recommend it, though I cannot comment on the PC version.
 
Will anyone be playing GRAW online tonight? I'm available for some coop action if anybody is interested. My Gamertag is in my sig.
