Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter

this is a MUST BUY game !!!

i played online last night and i love it. the detail in the game is incredible, you can here flys buzzing around in trash cans, bugs swarm street lights, the maps are very detailed and some are huge.

the only game modes i played were team elimination (no spawns), last mand standing(no spawns) and co-op mission (no spawns) co-op was great, you can play with up to 16 people (i think) we had a team of 4 and there were AI guys on our team, 3 of us died and our last team mate won the level and we all got acheivments for winning that level so that was pretty sweet.

That sounds perfect!!! Thats awesome you can have computer guys on your team too. Man I wish I could get a 360 right now but its going to be a while since I just bought a brand new crazy PC so heather and I can play together. (not like we dont already have enough gaming systems!)
I knew this was going to be a great game. Mabey I can rent the 360 again some time in the near future and play online with you. :)
 
alot of people were comparing the online to HALO 2 last night and everybody said this game will be way more popular.


if you play ranked games you level up depending on how good you are, i think there are 25 levels.

Thats good news because GR2 only had a 5 star ranking which didnt work the best. I never cared because I just played the co-op modes. Those were the most fun to me. 👍 Especially when you, heather and I all played together. Good times. :)
When they say like Halo 2 I wonder if it has a matchmaking?? THat would be awesome!! That was the best part of Halo 2.
 
they were saying that GR2 was popular for awhile but people are still playing HALO 2 and that GRAW will draw those people away from HALO 2.

they were also saying that this game alone will sell more 360's.

I just played the co-op modes. Those were the most fun to me. 👍 Especially when you, heather and I all played together. Good times. :)

lol when i was dead watching the other players it reminded me of playing GR2 with you, we were playing last man standing and you were the last guy left on our team but the rest of us were saying "wtf is he doing" and we were all watching you walk around looking at flowers and the trees and you were nowhere near the battle zone :lol:
 
so what is the online multiplayer like, any other standard FPS game with team play and what not? Im just curious because Ive never played any of the GR games online. Ill probably get this game soon, its the only one thats come out recently that Ive had some interest in, it sure looks really really good!

No gvan the online play when you play co-op is awesome. You and your team mates start at one end of the level and have to make it all the way to the other end. Some maps have 150+ guys to kill and it can easily take an hour to get thru one level if you have it on hard. Killing every single enemy in site. You can either set up respawns or no respawns. We generally set up respawns so you could come back to life. You can easily die a lot!! GR2 was sooo fun online and there are a lot of maps and tons of different multiplayer modes like hamburger hill. ANd driftgod said you can put bots on your team in GR3 which would be awesome!! Similar to Counterstrike for the PC but 100x better..
 
instead of GPS like battlfield 2 you have a "drone" wich is a camera in the sky that one of you can control to show where everybody is on the map 👍

i have 6 achievments now including one that you get for killing 4 enemies within 4 seconds or less :)

The thingy around the game is an adjustable belt. (I will use it for the time I will get a real belt next week 💡, at least I don't lift my pants every 1 min cause they fall down)

Thats cool.. I'm trying to beat the game first anyways... beaten 9 missions including the training mission. :D
 
Just got this game this morning like 20mins ago, good game, amazing graphics. Just done training and now onto the main campaing, on hard also, one shot kills are hell. lol

You must be the man. You beat games faster than anyone I know on this site. I want you on my team if we ever play online. :lol:
 
Damn that chapter 3 was tough, got through it though and now onto ch4. This game is really really really very good. ;)
 
I've just completed chapter 6 and I felt disappointed with the shooting down of 2 gunships with just a little caliber gun, they just hover in front of you while you shoot them. Loving the game though.
 
Thought I would give people a glimpse of the gameplay provided by this game, not to make you jealous or anything but it is absolutely quality, in fact I would give it a 9.5 out of 10. The graphics, the sound, the presentation everything is just really well put together. If you have a 360 then by all means this is the game that is a must-have in fact at the moment it's probably reason enough to buy a 360 !!

This video is of the chapter 7 where you have to save the president and get him to an extraction point but the rebels have other ideas and they're sneaky wee beggars. You might find the ease of which I take most of them down a bit worrying but that is only because I have been stuck on the bloody level for a good 2 hours !! (Notice that the video has aaah at the end of the filename) Anyway I finally completed that level and am now onto the next one but I just thought it would be cool to show you guys the real gameplay provided by this game.

The video was compressed in Windows Movie Maker as my VirtualDub and Premiere don't really want to speak to each other right now so I would recommend you full screen the video and sit back about 6 feet, this way the compression artefacts don't really show, just like a DivX movie !

I'm really not sure wether to get this game or not. I only have enough money for a few X360 games at the moment, and I'm not sure if I want to include this to the list or not. There are so many good games coming out this month, so I can't make my mind up. :indiff:

This game looks great, but it's the type of gameplay that I've never fully been keen on; 3rd person/1st person, ordering troops around, etc. I think I'll have to wait for a demo to be released for me to know for sure.
 
The whole ordering troops around is not hard at all. GRAW is a must buy for the 360 G.T.
