This competiton is to see who can make the BEST paintjob on a gif car. Each week the car will change and there will be a new challenge. This week it is the Toyota Supra. I hope this is one of many more to come.

*edit* Here's a tip ladies and gents. If you'd like to keep the original lines of the car, make sure that the paint job goes around the body lines. That helps you keep the original detail of the car and allows you to do a realistic paint job. Remember, this is only a tip. Use it if you will.

Heres mine, it's very simple but I hope you like it.;)
I changed it a little, added some more color.;)

Here's my entry. I threw it together in about 10 mins. I like it alot, all the details and such. Peace.


*update* I edited a few of the lines on the car so you can see everything more easily where the black graphics hit the stuff... yeah

I was wonderin because i wanted to buy like GT4 or another online agme and an adapter for Ps2 and have a team. I already ahve auto modellista, but when I told everyone I'd have to switch from computer to Ps2 they said no, im gonna get one soon though maybe. I was wonderin cause i was thinkin about making my own team.

o ok, and you guys do know you are able put body kits on the supra and stuff right...

Nope, Paint. I screenshoted the Color Editor in Paint, then made two long versions of the Blue to Black fade, one that went to dark blue and one that went to black, then put the car on Red and Dark Red transparency over that. I can explain this in more detail in another thread on one of the other forums if you wish.

EDIT: Wait, this is a PAINTJOB competition, we should only do the Supra's paint! If you do bodykits too then you're screwing up the point...

a supra is a supra whether it has a body kit or not, and the main purpose is to have the best looking paintjob WITH the car

So...this is ONLY paintjob right? Or is it body styling too?

(sorry, im just a bit confused today)
 
I made some changes to my car in post #9. Check it out, and as always, your opinions are welcome and encouraged.;)

No, because then it's just another Different comp! If you allow that they'd all be the same! I think you should give a paint job FOR the car, not for the CAR and add body kits to match!
