Gifting Cars Reset Time - I don´t get it!

Hi everyone!
A few days ago my time reset for gifting cars was at 1 am.
since i can´t stay awake this late everyday i had to let it pass and send the car the other day on 6pm. then the day after this i thought lets try to send another car earlier on 12:15pm and it worked somehow.
since then i always got a message that my limit was reached when i didn´t wait exactly 24 hours but this time it were only 18 hours.
can anyone explain this to me?or did something change in the gifting process?
i live in europe time zone us eastern+6 hours

I can't explain it. Some say it's 2am GMT. I'm in Canada, in EST time zone. My clock resets at 9pm, which is 2am GMT. Not sure why they picked that time.
 
I read here in GTP that the gift timer reset at 20 hours, if you gift at the 12 pm you ill be available again at the 8 pm, i dont know if this is true.
 
i can say 100% that my timer took a couple of days exact 24 hours from 1am to 1am the next day...
 
it seemed to be 24 hours a few weeks ago, but lately its been less. i cant say how much less because I usually try to do it before I leave for work ~6:15am, today it let me do it at 5:45am.

not really sure if theres much advantage to less time unless its like 8-10 hours between... easier for me to just do it the same time everyday....
 
Guys, stop wasting time. The answer is simple. It resets, every day, at exactly 0:00 GMT. For everybody. Case closed. :)

Its a myth really now. as of newest update. If you sent a car at 6pm you can not send a car until 6pm the next day

Really? Use your head. 6PM central time is 0000GMT, like the guy above said.
 
I sent a car yesterday at 6:06pm. couldnt send one today until 6:06pm i tried
 
You should try again because the reset is at 00:00GMT every day. 6pm central, 7pm eastern.

Forgot to mention this. 3 nights ago, I gifted at 9:30pm EST, the next night I didn't gift at all. Last night I gifted a car at 8:30PM, then again at 9:05. It's not a 24 hr clock, it resets at 9pm EST, or 2:00am GMT. It definately has changed since launch. I believe it used to reset at 12am EST time. Not sure when it changed.
