you know on the tach how sometimes it says "+4 or +3" etc....whats that mean? thanks

i means to downshift to that gear, like if i was going to the first turn on laguna sega, that thing suggfests what gear i should shift to....

just dont pay attention to it,its kinda unrealistic

It usually gives me a good idea of what gear to be in for the upcoming turn. I have played enough to know what it will say before I get there though..... ;)

I dont like it..often times im in 6th and it says 3rd!!!!!!

i dont use it i use whatever i think is right for the turn and if needed i slow down more to get through the turn.

BTW: i love rx-7 as much as u..but a hennessey tt viper can smoke a rx-7 any day.

Azn that is the numbest thing i have ever heard nothing street legal can beat it you make me laugh. :o :o

I think it's to help mannual drivers as when they are learning what to shift down to for the next turn.

ive used it its good in the liscenses and have you noticed as your tyres wear the gear suggested changes!!?

 😈

You know, I find that little light has done wonders to help my game. I just ignored it for the first few months... And, with me ignoring it, I rammed every wall I could find.

hehehe

I've found that watching the light really does help though - and the suggested gear works quite well too. Every now and again I'll find it's reporting either too high or too low, but it gives you a great feeling of a) when to brake and b) how much to brake - ie - how slow you'll need to be going.

Now I can actually stay off the beach on Grand Valley.

hahahahahha your sig hahahahahaha. thats just a movie, duh

That little light can become obsessive at first. Then handy...

...then a pain! ;) :p

It only took me a few laps to find a certain car's gear change point. The only times I found I was over-cooking it was on 2 player.
