This may seem very random, but does ANYBODY know where i could get a cheap ipod, other than ebay?
I AM DESPERATE!!! Also, I would like to know ANY information whatsover about how i can get a japanese game disk to work on an english ps2. HELP!!!:scared:
 
You could buy a cheaper (and in some ways better) HDD based MP3 player other than an iPod. Creative do some rather nice ones.

In terms of getting a cheap iPod though, look in the paper, or apply to every online competition going that is offering one or something. They're expensive for a reason, getting cheap ones isn't that easy.

With the Japanese game, it sounds like you need a mod chip. Unfortunately for you (and the rest of us Brits) i believe they've been deemed illegal, so you can't buy them here. Your best bet is to buy one online. Make sure you get one that requires no wiring (i.e. a slide card i think, unsure on the name entirely though), and one that does support NTSC-J disks.
 
Creative mp3 player gets my vote!

Also, be careful if you buy portable electronics 2nd hand. Items like cellphones and mp3 players are used daily and don't always get treated properly. Watch out for a good battery if you do.

How much storage do you need? The new ipod mini has got 4gb or 6gb. The price starts from 199€ to 249€.

The Ipod 20gb costs 309€. These are the german prices. They are a little bit cheaper . if someone could get you one from germany it'w be fine for your purse ;) P.S.: the Ipod is an eye catcher take it!
