Used the search bar and nothing came up.

It's simple, give us an option where we can give our cars a nickname. When applied, the nickname would be right next to the actual name of the car in quotation marks like this:

And here's the text menu:

Above images are not final and may change.

There would be a world filter so there wouldn't be any inappropriate names.

It will just be a novelty feature and would be fun using it to name our troll cars, ricers, etc.

This would not only work for nicknames, but also if you prefer placing a special tuning brand name (realistic tuner brand or your own) or package not normally seen in game.
Package Example: A 400hp Lancer Evolution X = Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X "FQ400"
Realistic Tuner Example: 380hp Subaru Legacy GT-B Wagon = Subaru Legacy GT-B "MCM Gramps"

I've been doing this for some time as seen in both my fiction and with the recent Community features. Here's an example of my Stielow Engineering Red Devil, to which i named "New Hotness".

This would add the uniqueness of the cars you own, and that, even when you haven't done much to it, makes it feel like it really belongs to you. It'd be interesting to bring it up as an official addition.

I agree- We should call these cars by also replica.

For example: If I do an Replica of Subaru Impreza WRC98 in Subaru Impreza 22B, then:
Subaru Impreza 22B = Subaru Impreza 22B WRC98

Exactly. This would be useful in letting people know it's a replica of build used for that car (no matter if it's an Aftermarket Build, Factory-Tuned, or a Race Spec model).

Nice idea. Again not so sure about certain licensing issues but if you can recreate Star Wars in LBP, then surely it can be done without stepping on toes...Gets my vote.👍👍
